  2. Yeah not sure. Maybe they were going to do singles matches or a tag or something? Jericho and Nash could have done the hair match there... Orton and Michaels could have had their match too instead of Unforgiven?
  3. Yup, agreed 100%. I didn't know how many more ways I could explain it. He looked completely aimless, feuding with Rhyno for a while. Survivor Series was def the turning point for him and his build to the Rumble. Which makes sense, I think it was Scott Keith that said he had contact with one of the writers at this time and they said it was in December or so that Benoit was told about Mania XX.

  5. Glad you enjoyed both! Donatello was the man... smartest one and the real leader. Without him, Leo falls on his face. The true SABRmatrician of the Turtles! Return to Oz still gives me nightmares and I haven't seen it in two decades.
  6. While I don't think the archived footage is the huge draw, it is certainly a huge part of why they hemorrhaged so many subscribers. They need to take advantage of November being free by going balls out updating the archive. The biggest bucket of footage I see people bitching out is the Attitude Era. So, put all Nitros, Raws, Thunders & SDs through the Invasion up to start the month. Satiate the hardcore old school fans by dumping in a territory in full. Plan two new documentaries with fresh footage, similar to Daniel Bryan's WM Journey, The Birth of the Shield and The Warrior documentary... And then... have a kick ass Survivor Series. Will this cure everything? No way. But it will build up some good will and maybe lure back those that got pissed they couldn't watch the full season of 2000 Raw and walked.

  10. Good stuff, guys. Did a nice job hitting the highlights of the early days in a fairly short window. Arriba! If you can ever get him back on, I am curious about those rumors from 1992 that he was on the short list to be WWF Champ as well as his win over Undertaker on the European tour. Oh, and my favorite... his random MSG match with Koko!
  11. Yeah I think Charles nailed it there. Also, DDP shouldn't have even cared about Sara... the original intent was he did it just to get Taker's attention. Once they went back to him actually being obsessed with her is when it went right to shit. Oh, and Taker mopping him up in a brawl at KOTR.

  17. He really is fantastic... can't wait for what potentially lies ahead.
  18. Yes, that is what I loved the most about talking to him. I loved when he just told me to say the 96 tag division flat out sucked. Great guy to talk to... (and hopefully more coming soon at PTBN!)

  22. I agree with Marty... to me, it dropped off when it came back in 2003. Even though it hit some rough waters in 1999 and the Invasion, it had a good run for most of 2002, being highly valued in the Regal/Edge and RVD/Eddie feuds, as well as a good Benoit/RVD SummerSlam match. Kane winning it and the death at No Mercy to me was the end of its meaningfulness.

  24. That October 1988 squash on TV had to be just to get them some visibility/cred before Survivor Series.
