they are giving Henry/Rusev the main event segment on the go home show? What the hell? also, Stephanie and Hunter have essentially done nothing since Summerslam. Especially Hunter. I guess Stephanie is still involved in the Bella stuff but Hunter has become a non factor in the last month

around this time last year we had RVD feuding with Del Rio over the Word Title, Big Show crying every week, Punk and Heyman still feuding in a program that started in June and with Axel headlining house shows, Miz getting a teased babyface push against the Authority that went nowhere and Dolph Ziggler still stuck in the same position on the card

I also prefer house shows. Albany with a raw and SD taping this year. No house shows. The raw was the one with the horrible Kane/Bryan/Brie stuff with the car. to think how much has changed in a year the house show I went to last October was headlined by Punk v Curtis Axel

HHH never looked like a bigger star (up till this point) than the finish of this match. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the moment where Vince decided to push the hell out of him. Rock speaks for himself of course -

Russo wanted to turn him heel in the build up to this match. It was probably the right move not to at the time but 16 years later I think it would have made for a more exciting match I've always found this match quite disappointing given the nearly 3 month incredible build to it. If I'm not mistaken Undertaker was working injured here and would continue to do so for the rest of 98. Can't blame him because he was on top every month v Austin and couldn't walk away from the paydays. He looked pretty banged up for most of 99 too -
the fact that the company probably doesn't see a fan backlash coming from this is yet another example that the wrestling bubble is alive and well

holy shit this show from the tease at the end here are some gems coming this season - they are treating Brie quitting as a total shoot and she asks to borrow money from Cena and Nikki - Rosa is working a lesbian/bi-sexual gimmick and wants action from an unidentified female bodybuilder/wrestler? -Jon Uso is oversexed. Trinity takes stripper pole dance classes -Nattie and TJ visit a divorce lawyer -Nattie grabs Summer out of a car and they fight in the middle of the street big news this episode is that Eva's father is dying from cancer. Jesus the family is putting this on national TV?

Shouldn't he be back earlier? The original time table WITH a 2nd surgery had him back in December-January (3 month recovery). I mean, he should take as much time as needed but wouldn't shock me if he's back for SS if he doesn't need shoulder surgery. Would they bring him back in December which is traditionally a dead month for the company? The last two weeks of the year there are usually no angles or big returns. Post new year would be a good time as there is usually a lot of buzz with the build to the Rumble and entering Mania season

The thing is they see Reigns as *the* future of the company. The guy to replace Cena. It's going to take a lot, probably more than last Mania season, to change their plans. If they do I predict a Reigns v Ambrose v Bryan v Lesnar main event

I like how before Brie briefly mentioned it last month that the Big Show v Authority feud had been erased from WWE lexicon.
