Also remember that in WWE internal logic Kane returning to his old gimmick negates the jobs he did for .Bryan the last few months. It doesn't make much sense but that is the in house policy. Also yes a nice throwback to October when Kane gave up the mask to Stephanie and now she brings him back

Batista is scheduled to take time off after Extreme Rules to do promotion for "Guardians of the Galaxy". I would imagine Bryan is going to get beat down pretty badly tonight to try and sell Kane as a threat

I have a feeling that if Ambrose and Rollins are left out in the cold and Reigns struggles that the crowd will turn on him if they surmise he's just getting pushed because of his size. It will be like they learned nothing from the Bryan revolt

rewatched the segment with Kane and as others have mentioned Stephanie is starting to sound like her father. Same cadence and expressions. It was actually kind of eerie how similar she was

With all the PPVs between now and Summerslam you have to wonder about Bryan's opponents. Hope they don't drag the Kane feud past Extreme Rules. The natural option is Batista and that's where I think they go but again there are so many PPVs in a relative short period they might have to run some screw job non finishes like last fall. Maybe they squeeze another Hunter match in but I think they will want him strong for Reigns at Summerslam This is what happens when a guy gets over by "accident" and you haven't scheduled any plans. I'm fairly confident things work out for him though

Said not to be serious Brock will return for the build to Summerslam and will most likely face Bryan at the event Rusev is scheduled for a squash win at Extreme Rules Rey is healing nagging injuries again. back to the script man they actually write stage directions in the promos. For instance Lana is specifically told to smile before cutting her promo. the "how to write a promo" checklist is something I probably learned in a creative writing class when I was a freshman in college. Just basic stuff that even if you weren't in show business you should at least be aware of (except the camera stuff I guess) can't say "belt" or "feud" in a promo and in one I've never heard before you're not allowed to mentioned the city you're in (like to hear Vince's rational for this one) write dialogue where the performers step on each others lines to make it seem more real? When has this ever been used???? I can remember years ago someone who worked in show business saw a WWE script online and remarked how amateurish it looked compared to normal Hollywood standards. I don't think anything has really changed

In the script Steph is the one who glares at the mask and enourages Kane to put it on. The segment was written by "Kevin M" and produced by "Phil" and "Tom" (Dr.?) also AJ is listed under the "miscellaneous/injured" category with Punk which I guess means last week's job might have been a way to write her off (or she's legit injured/on hiatus)

also have to factor in that Bryan has defeated Kane cleanly 3 times on TV since February . They even mentioned that tonight. That telegraphs that Kane is going to beat him down pretty bad next week. Or maybe they have him terrorize Brie

happened upon a video from 2009 and I had completely forgotten that Stephanie recruited Kane to help her against Legacy. I don't even remember what the hell the set up was for that. In fact her whole run as RAW GM in late 08/early 09 is a complete blur. And seeing Steph as a vulnerable babyface is weird given the last 9 months

It's sad to watch Dixie try to cosplay Stephanie and pretty much fail at every aspect of it. They even had her slapping people last week

I just hope it's a placeholder feud but with all these PPVs(special event!) coming up I could see them stretching this out I really don't think the company sees it as a demotion for Bryan though. If Stephanie is involved like they teased tonight it will get plenty of attention. Probably won't get the ME slot but I guess they think they already made Bryan and are looking to make the Shield

Meltz is claiming that Bryan v Kane will be on RAW next week. Unless I missed something I don't think that was announced
