  1. She's going to pick up so many bad habits in that match.
  2. The video package was rough, I'll admit. What do they even try to do with Matt now? I kind of want a Broken Matt vs Miz feud.
  3. I'm going to buck the trend and say Hardy vs Bray has been sound. A lot of it is meat and potatoes with Hardy's mind games along for the ride but the stuff that they've been doing generally works.
  4. If I had to guess I'd assume Asuka rolled the wrong way. I loved Asuka's selling after that (unless, you know, she was actually in agony).
  5. I think its an improperly formatted Haku. You can be the one to tell Haku hes improperly formatted.
  6. This thing's been alive for four years now.

So the NXT system of honing talent works?
  8. All I wish for those that i care about is that someday, maybe, just maybe, they can love something as much as Parv loves WWF Ted.
  9. I am going to cautiously thank Tim for that. I think. Unless he chimes in that he's seen it, I've given him this:
  10. They just did something for the upcoming Savage DVD with Mooney, Graves, Bayley, and DDP.
  11. This has to be one of the better 90 second matches in history:
  12. That was kind of what I thought it might be, which is why I avoided it.
  13. I haven't. Nor the houston one. I half figured i'd get annoyed with Conrad ragging on them as workers or something.
  14. It's no PWOGWE.
  15. It's got to be Road Dogg. If only the Double J stuff matters, there's almost no one else. Maybe if they can get some current mainstream country star or something?
  16. I just watched the video package. Not one mention of being WCW champion. Pretty much nothing after 1999. It's very clear that Jeff Jarrett isn't getting inducted. The character Double J is. Which is fine, but I didn't think it'd be QUITE that clear. If you heard the Something to Wrestle show about him, you got the sense that the company line was that he was never bigger than when he was that character.
  17. I don't have a massive amount of patience for the show, but I will admit to having really enjoyed and learned a lot from the Goldust, Jarrett, and Undertaker episodes. I'm curious what other single subject ones are as good as those two?
  18. Week 8, Kronos is sitting out. Edgar is back NEXT week. Laz is back in. I've kept southofheavy sitting out to give us an even # but usual rules apply. If he wants in, he can double up with me. Richeyedwards HeadCheese Tim Evans Matt D Nintendo Logic dawho5 WingedEagle Jmare007 Rah Jetlag fxnj concrete1992 SPS laz Tim, I'll try to figure out something you haven't seen and get back to you soon.
  19. Would AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, and Eric Young come out to fight DX?
  20. Rah had me watch Cesaro vs Kofi from the 5/1/13 Main Event. Long match, incredible Cesaro performance. He's been so good for so long. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/25404-antonio-cesaro-vs-kofi-kingston-wwe-main-event-050113/
  21. This is a three segment match. There's an argument to be made that it's Kofi's career singles match but I think that'd be a false argument. What it is instead is an amazing Cesaro performance, one that maximizes Kofi's strengths and minimizes his weaknesses, despite the length. They skip the shine and start with some really compelling matwork/grappling instead. Here, Cesaro is all over him with positioning and attempts at holds, but Kofi's just clinging on at every point like some sort of pro wrestling spider. I don't remember seeing a ton of this stuff in 2013. I don't remember seeing a ton of this stuff EVER in WWE. I don't think I've ever seen it from Kofi before, though I could be wrong. Eventually, Cesaro's strength wins out (with the gutwrench deadlifts out of nowhere) and he takes over. That's most of the rest of the match. Kofi fires back a few times, including once early, where Cesaro takes a powder and Kofi all but dives after him in the moment, with obvious frustration that he lost the advantage that fit into the moment and that I really appreciated. Cesaro's offense is great. It's not about the amount of moves he has but his ability to fill time and keep things gritty and interesting. That said, he does have a lot of stuff and it all looks great, from double stomps, vice locks, to european uppercuts and suplexes. I actually think they're going home in the middle after Kofi fires back (it was all about him getting distance from Cesar) and hits the boom drop but it somehow transitions into Cesaro going after the leg and the third segment is a lot of that, with some of the nastiest half crabs you'll see. The finishing stretch has a lot of call backs and the actual finish is clever and again highlights Kofi's strengths, his immediacy and explosiveness, and ability to hit things from off angles. If you told me this was Kofi's best singles match, I'd believe you. That says a lot for Cesaro, who also has Miz' amongst others.
  22. At least you are consistent, year after year after year.
  23. Are they heating Rollins up because they couldn't get the Rock to team with Rousey?
  24. Alright. Anyone want to jump back on this week? Ill probably spin the wheel tomorrow night.
  25. I loved how he could control the space in the ring, especially in the later footage we had. He was sort of like a gravitational force that drew the heel towards him to pop the crowd with the punch.
