Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever asked Wade about the Jericho stuff? And if so, what was his response?
He denies it but to this day Wade preferences any praise of Jericho with "a lot people think I give Jericho a hard time but."
Anyone ever hear the Bobby Heenan story that WCW format sheets we never stapled correctly so the announcers didnt know which page was next etc? I dont know why but that totally bemuses me.
Anyone watch this yet?
It really underscores that they waited too long to put a DVD out. Despite it doing an admirable job covering his career given time constraints. They rushed over his pre-WWE career a bit too quickly:
More or less skipping his Japan stint (lack or footage or not)
Glossing over his feud with Malenko in favour of the schticky bits (1,004 holds & conspiracy victim) and the Goldberg non-feud.
John Morrison and Evan Bourne are pure lameo as talking heads on otherwise a pretty choice selection of talking heads.
Jericho wanted to call The Highlight Reel Jericho's Junction!
Anyway the documentary is a really good production regardless.
You have to put that in the context that the Rock regards Pro Wrestling & MMA as the same "biz" etc.
Wow, Bret in the ring. Paul Bearer on SD! This is a good week for feel-good fandemonium.
Bret looks like he's having a great time in there.
Bret moving out of the way at the last second after being held near the ropes made me weep with old school joy.
This guy has clips of the match, the crowd goes INSANE:

AKA why WWE show have a developmental in Louisville and/or Memphis
Gabe has been harping on about how strong the ROH brand is as a "excuse" recently.
All that and ROH deep discounting DVDs having 2 for 3 sales seemingly every week.

Contrast this with Bix's fav old school fat pilled up version:

I'd think anyone who opens a thread titled "WON 2010" has a reasonable expectation that they might see the inductees. They are listed on wikipedia anyway.
Aye just that some people take the issue seriously and look forward to it.
Steve Williams came SO close. Does anyone think Dave should have put him in or should he be a total stickler here?
My major disappointment was that Kent Walton didn’t get in despite being pimped as a slam dunk candidate.
Rey & Jericho going in together is interesting considering the traditional reluctance of voting active performs.
And bless him for it.
He looks relatively slim in this grainy pic of his return:

He had a gastric bypass a few years back. The last photo I saw of him was at one of those conventions where he looked slimmer but had loose skin that made his neck look like a vagina.
Im aware of the surgery as he has done a tonne of interviews and had it paid by WWE so he could come back for WM20. But when I last saw him it seemed that he put back on a lot of weight since his wife passed away.
