I love the second line here: The common theory is that she is the other woman in the Drew-Tiffany situation.

Nowinski's reaction via the Hill site: http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/senate...mcmahon-critic- Nothing of note really as the internet made the case for him already really.
-
Her and Chyna having a falling out is another theory/contributing factor/whatever. Stacy still didnt truly know in her shoot.

jdw did you watch his interview last week with Ariel Helwani? He gave a fairly perceptive account of what Strikeforce lacks on the production end. He at least knows about how to produce commentary, branding (both fighter and promotion) along with other aesthetics. Again I dont think he will sign. For example: Do you not think Heyman knows how to capitalise on things better than the current Strikeforce management.

I dont care that promotion needs all the help in the world. Still Dixie hinted at something similar and look what happened there.

On not being able to relate to modern fans according to Colt Cabana Foley packed in his comedy show due Wrestling fans not supporting it as much had he hoped.
-
Kind of reminds me of the Des Kay character from the comedy show Little Britian: Des is a former 80s children's TV presenter who has to now work in a DIY shop who has difficulty letting go of his fading frame.
-
In jest I hope or was he interjecting?
-
I hope someone pulls up a picture even a OVW roster group photo. Had a look on google images even searching "Harvard Chris" but nothing.

You'd guess that they are managing cash flow tightly as they are only able to pay when Spike and overseas TV pay's them as really theyve only got one decent revenue stream.

Huzzah I trying to find that online myself this week: http://www.hack-man.com/Wrestling/NewsArti...er-Pillman.html

Meltzer weighs in heavy:

Anyone with a Torch sub listen to Bruce Mitchell's analysis of Foley's screed? Any good?
-
Well Ed doesnt say all that much Again just shooting the breeze, inessential really but the HOF talk and Donohue talk is fun. Well Ed doesnt say that much as is largely Dave and then later Alan4L and Dave interacting. Dave comes in around the 18 minute mark and is there for roughly an hour.
-
Dave was on Ed's show here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/edward-loredo Mostly shooting the breeze about the week in Wrestling and Bryan's wedding. His reaction to Foley is that Foley doesn’t take criticism lightly. Dave would like Foley to pick out something specific he said. He has no problem his performance and delivery. Most of his sarcastic comments come from Foley's references to WWE being the big leagues. All and all he thought it was strange and it is just indicative of the frustration within TNA, his star power decreasing and his poor feuds with Sting, Nash etc. Dave's contention is that Foley was simply victim of bad booking in WWE while in TNA he is just failing and over exposed. There is some HOF talk featuring Tamura and Murdoch as well as the Donohue show talk.
-
I dont understand it either. I thought the reference points were obviously a Mexican JBL, Rick Martel with a hint of Salavore Sincere. I thought it was an awesone debut except WWE didnt know how to shoot Del Rio's finisher.
-
Yep he had a pretty great match with Umaga the month prior, the match with HBK in London, the miracle match with Khali etc that year.
-
So he didnt die of a broken heart?

Mick Foley's looong column about Dave's reviews of his TNA-era promo work: http://www.tnawrestling.com/news/item/2115...ley-column-8/19 Publicity grab for his new book, Foley being Foley when it comes to criticism or legitimate beef? It interesting how close he drops short of accusing Meltzer of losing his passion for Wrestling. On a macro level I thought him and were really good friends.
-
Especially when he jumped from PWI to take Bryan's buddy's Blake Norton's job at WOW magazine
-
Yeah it was the old percieved catch 20/20 situation of "should I go up to him."
-
Well Cornette loves him at least. Maybe he can appear on Colt's podcast as Bull Pain did this week: http://tsmradio.com/coltcabana/2010/08/19/aow-show-4/

PWInsider: I’m sad to see someone get fired but realistically he seemed to be totally miserable and misused for years. I wonder if WWE would touch him?

Chris Nowinski : "she's kicking dirt on the guy's grave" Watch this interview: http://www.necn.com/08/18/10/Former-wrestl...amp;feedID=4212

That shuts me down. Well... I wrote a lot more than just that sentence. But Paul is like Lano or Shannon Rose or other noted Wrestling Liars. One always takes a step back on something he says and think a bit about it. In this case, it just doesn't add up unless there was something in the WON back in 2005 about it, even if not explicitly identifying Paul. I think Paul is busting his hump to be relevant, and being The Most Knowledgable Pro Wrestling Guy About MMA seems to be what he's trying to put a lot of stock into. John Sorry jdw just did want to requote your post in full no insult intended. What was the deal with Shannon Rose? Speaking of long posts here is the story of Eric Bischoff's stint in TNA: Credit: Daniel Burkhardt, PWInsider
