  1. Casey Afflect admits it was all a work: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/17/movies/17affleck.html?_r=2
  2. His work ethic returned thats for sure.
  3. WWE just gave Alosia her release, one for the Hade Vansen scale.
  4. Offically? When he gets Soma's banned and when Paul London makes fun of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh5p1hRFaLg
  5. Elaborate. EN90 *cough* and some others in random threads which I don’t have the usernames of but still you have some of it in the dedicated Meltzer thread over there. I know when it comes to TNA it can be relentless fanboyism with every bit of positive news being gospel but when it is negative it is bullshit and Meltzer is anti-TNA (despite having friends there and creaming himself over Angle & AJ). But I’ve seen posts on most US at least promotions showing distain for newsletters and more of the use of the disclaimer of "if true" when replying to posts more than ever. Could it be just me? If you look at the comments section of Matt's youtube you have young fans posting that PWTorch is full of lies and that he should read Gerwick.net (who cut and paste sites like the Torch) instead. Which is funny but it could be just put down to youthful naivety I guess.
  6. Even more since his Jethro Holiday stint in TNA? This whole Matt Hardy thing has raised a question Ive been wanting to ask for a while why do most of the young uns on the net seem to think dirtsheetz are the devil? Is it them not being able to distinguish between PROGRAPSSCOOPS.com and the Wrestling Observer the reason or that WWE's creative making it impossible for any newsletter to be right after the date of publication or something else. Ive even seen this mentality on DVDR too.
  7. Would Five carry them or is it the massive drop down to Extreme TV city for TNA? Bravo was a great little channel for hosting Wrestling and MMA as it attracted working class males and the like. Thanks subatomic_elbow.
  8. Someone doesnt listen to the opening 15 minutes of Segunda Caida and other related shows. Again it needs to be asked what is it about "DVDR" guys opinions that they get dismissed or ridiculed instead of being meant with "hey cool I must check that guy out" or whatever?
  9. Listening to an hour and a half interview that Lance Cade did with PWInsider the week after his release. Even with the obits it is still interesting stuff coming from his mouth about the odd relationships he had with Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon's number one problem with him was not the drug issues or the plane incident rather that he didnt thank Shawn after a main event on Raw. Just what a stupid, low prospect business. More bits of trivia from the interview is that: Him and Kevin Fertig were originally going to be Southern Justice He was going to have Orlando's stop in JBL's cabinet Shawn Michaels was pushing him to go to TNA and Japan at the time of the interview. So what is Murdoch up to certionly?
  10. Where did I say that? I stated quiet the opposite actually. You are being overly defensive here.
  11. Clearly he's a guy who's never learned to quit while he was ahead. And really, it's decision time? As in it's time to decide to stop acting like a 16 year old emo kid or quit the best gig you'll ever have so you can go back to tag teaming fat chicks with your brother? Matt dun goofed?
  12. Anyone see the new look Figure 4 Weekly: http://www.f4wonline.com/images/Pics2/News...ectory4/795.jpg It might a false memory but didnt Bryan once tell a story about Wade angrily ringing him over a re-design of the F4W as it aped the Torch once? He needs to ring again. lol
  13. Thought I was IP banned or something At least this is the one place that wasnt talking about Matt Hardy!
  14. Oh My God: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdIpHUXyDCk
  15. Hardy is Pillman now: http://www.cagesideseats.com/2010/9/12/168...d-hope-everyone
  16. Interesting post S.L.L, I totally agree that a lot the anti-DVDR sentiment can be anti-intellectual borne out of probably being confronted with a difficult to counter arguments about wrestlers and as well as the fundamental constructs how people learned to view Wrestling. There is probably and an in and an out group dynamic going on too. But that doesnt preclude accusations of douchcebaggery, the type of discourse being grating etc. Sorry but the writing at times does come across as a group of people with a implicitly shared agenda/something to prove baiting and trolling rather a group of people who love wrestling who relatively speaking look under rocks to find it for whatever reason. When I know it is really the latter listening to most of you guys on audio. It is not just the whole Chris Master/Mark Henry thing but the writing style/delivery too as EricR poked fun at here: http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2010/09/a...e-negative.html
  17. I stand corrected: http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/148...;-The-Rock.html
  18. Kind of funny that he is the one in trouble on a European tour when he was the dude who played games and got Punk depushed as a result on the tour this time last year. I guess let the crazy like a fox theories commence about this is his way of going to TNA.
  19. Condition could also referr to the shape he is in. Obviously if WWE think he is too broken down most of us wouldnt be shocked either.
  20. You're gonna have to explain that. On a certain level, it seems the "problem" with the discourse is that it exists at all. That fact that Dylan can explain in sound and coherent terms why, say, 2010 Chris Masters is a great wrestler is a problem to those who disagree or refuse to consider him but can't back up their claims as well. Can o' worms. Do you not see that there is an inherent or even an associated douchbaggery to terms like "believable strikes" or "limb selling"? I remember Naylor busting out laughing finding out that he was saying the term "believable strikes" aloud on one of Alan's podcasts. There is a range of reasons why they might grate on people. For example Ive read in the past posters attacking the fat guy/great puncher formula of instant "DVDR" pimpage as they saw it as fans of that "genre" of wrestling trying to compenstate for what is seen as a fake and phony "sport." Additionally no one on either side of the MOVEZ divide want to be associated with the term workrate anymore as both sides have used it as a stick to beat the other with.
  21. Anyone know about this? Another Eugene situation?
  22. Sure Dylan sorry to hurt your feelings to this degree. Mr. Wrestling Intellectual sir.
  23. DIED On the rest of your post if that is what youve taken away then god help ya. I was referencing what you previously said on other message board you dolt. I really dont mind people who as you term like " wrestlers other than those that have historically been deemed as great" it is the from out of nowhere statements of that OMGies Scotty 2 Hotty might just be the best worker in North America right now!!!! and the type of discourse that some use. Both elements make any form of discussion seem like a troll/baiting job rather just a dude having a personal favourite wrestler. Sorry but there is a trying too hard and douchey element to it all.
  24. Im guessing Souled Out 2000 and backstage at No Way Out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF7iX868Nzc
