Loss Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Marty Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Eddy Guerrero It's going to be hard for me to top my argument for him like I did with the Rock matchup, but it's hard for me not to vote for Guerrero, since he's had better matches than Austin and really accomplished an awful lot under the circumstances he was in. Austin, via injuries, got worse, but Guerrero, while still not as good in the ring as he used to be, is still a fine worker.
MyOwnSummer Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Austin. Eddie may have had better matches than Austin (and personally I'll take Austin's matches with Bret over any of Eddie's WWE work that I've seen), but none of them had the impact that some of Austin's did. Austin changed wrestling forever. Eddie's an amazing wrestler who I love to death, but I can't really put him above Austin.
Guest Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Steve Austin If Eddie had been able to get the championship push he was meant for last year, I might have voted for him instead
Ray Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Steve Austin Austin had great matches and drew huge money.
goodhelmet Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Eddie Guerrero Asutin changed wrestling but was it for the better?
Guest teke184 Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Austin If Eddy hadn't flamed out last year due to pressure and bad booking, this would have been much closer.
