Loss Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 Flair does a really great, calm sit-down interview, talking about how he made the mistake of thinking he and Hogan in his new role could co-exist, when that is obviously not the case. There are some great old clips here, and this was a tremendous piece of business. Flair talks about how when Hogan was selling toys, he was winning world titles and performing in the ring night after night. Horsemen vs NWO seemed to be where they were headed, and it just didn't happen that way, which sucks. Hogan vs Flair on PPV at this point would have been a huge draw.
PeteF3 Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 I love the build to this feud and the build to the Clash main event. It's one of the better Clash main event builds ever, in fact, which is doubly shocking considering the chaotic week-to-week environment we're in. Flair even tosses some shoot comments into this, referring to "characters," which was weird, but this was still an awesome piece.
soup23 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 What an awesome moment with Flair describing perfectly the contrast between him and Hogan. I know it was only 2 years removed from their last feud but I do feel like this could have certainly headlined a big PPV.
