Loss
If you go in expecting a classic, I think you'll be disappointed, but if you go in expecting a really good, fun match with them doing spots and limb work that no one is really doing in AAA, I think you'll like this. These aren't Rey/Psicosis highspots, but they are still impressive highspots, and the pace is slowed down slightly so that all the big stuff has more time to sink in, even though they still cut a really good pace. Feels more 80s than 90s, but maybe that was standard operating procedure for CMLL in 1995.
Tim Evans
This is like a lesser version of current day CMLL singles main events. I didn't care for it much cause it never went anywhere. Kinda boring really
PeteF3
I liked this a good deal--it felt like a lucha version of a gritty 1990 Worldwide main event. Some hard-hitting work and Dantes builds things up to some great highspots, including balancing on the top rope (the rope part, not the turnbuckle) for what seems like 5 seconds before diving out to Silver King on the floor. Glad to see Silver King back after such a great tag run in the early part of the decade. This left me wanting to see more of both guys. Zenjo
I think that they clipped a few minutes off the beginning. It was a little on the short side as a result. They just about stuck to the title rules. At one point it almost descended into fisticuffs. Real solid stuff for the most part with consistently decent action. The quality was that of two midcarders having a big match. Nothing standout, but they gave it their best shot. Dantes showed some roguish charisma. I'm not sold on Kain as a singles competitor.
