Loss
Lance Russell continues to be out of this world great in selling angles to the audience. PG-13 are facing Pat Tanaka and Gorgeous George III when Mark Curtis interrupts the announcers and asks for Russell to follow him to the parking lot. No dice, but Lance sends a cameraman. Smothers and the Rock & Rolls are getting ready to wreak havoc and storm the ring. Smothers seems to be having the time of his life. I wish George and Tanaka had been laid out too instead of helping out, but that's a small complaint. This is similar in some ways to "The Outsiders are in the back" in WCW a year later. It's not a perfect comparison, but this is somewhat like it. Finally, Tommy Rich has seen enough and makes a triumphant save, only for the SMW guys to bail. LOL at Steven Dunn being around for all of this and being completely ineffective at holding off anyone from SMW.
Tim Evans
Ah you guys didn't include the awesome Tommy Rich promo after the brawl about Lance and Mama and the babies. Good brawl with Tanaka and George joining the SMW crew although I don't think either were actually in SMW. Uptown Karen appearance.
PeteF3
The studio match actually has some good action to it--Tanaka is still Tanaka--and then we get the big angle. Yes, this is a proto-NWO angle in almost every way. We don't see it here, but the Rock 'n Rolls even busted out spraypaint earlier on in the feud. Steven Dunn is now FLYING SOLO, BABY, not that it does him much good. Eventually Tommy Rich has enough and comes in with a chair and Team SMW bail. Hmmm...I can't help but notice that not only is Rich technically a member of Cornette's Militia now, but he never actually hit anybody from SMW with anything. Anyway, this whole thing is turning into a potential Feud of the Year, and is practically a lead-pipe cinch for it if you limit it to the U.S.
