Hoping for a different angle such as life after wrestling or maybe a focus on the WCW dysfunction compared to ECW dysfunction.

We cover a lot of stuff in that time, including Stevie's philosophy on wrestling/what makes a good match, some ECW stuff, some WWE stuff, some stuff on WCW and TNA, his current run with Extreme Rising, et.

Dylan Waco Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks Johnny. I thought Stevie was a really honest guest. He could have just put everyone over or played politics and I wouldn't have blamed him. Instead he was extremely honest about everything without burying guys or being negative.

I knew right away when Stevie said he doesn't look at the past and is always looking forward that he wasn't going to talk too much about the past but Dylan got the right question in when he pressed on comparisons between TNA and WCW. Also a plug for DDP Yoga!!! I should probably try that someday.
WingedEagle Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Really enjoyed listening to this. Stevie sounded like a pretty decent guy who appreciates his fans. A shame to see the Extreme Rising shows over Mania weekend were cancelled. I was thinking about going after listening to this.

This might be the worst Wrestlemania weekend on record for Dylan when all is said and done.
Dylan Waco Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 If Dave gets back to Toronto in time we will do a WM weekend preview show like we did last year and will cover it in detail then. In the meantime I would just say that I thought the ER shows and the PWS shows were easily the most interesting shows on paper. Mania itself looks like complete and utter dogshit on paper to the point where I turned down multiple chances to go (including free tickets twice) and I'm not going to make a big event out of it (sports bar, party at my house or friends house, et) for the first time in years. Nothing on the "name" indie cards looks appealing, at least not in terms of a whole card or even a large part of a card. Honestly the show I'm most looking forward to Mania weekend is Empire Wrestling's show in Rossville, Georiga.
