Horrendous show with a Worst Match of the Year contender.

Disappointing since on paper it looked like it could have least been a good show and I had high hopes for the 10 man.

 

Where does this leave us for Wrestle Kingdom?

 

Naito vs. Okada

Tanahashi vs. Nakamura

Gallows/Anderson vs. KES

Yano vs. Suzuki (Have no idea why they went with this)

Nagata/sakaruba vs. Gracies

 

What else?

I've been kind of underwhelmed by NJPW for the past few months now, basically since Naito won the G-1. This card doesn't change that much.

That's nine, and I don't know where that leaves Ishii, Shelton, Tanaka, Yujiro.

 

I assume a big multi man tag with the likes of Liger, Tiger Mask, YOSHI-HASHI, etc, but the four guys above probably deserve a better spot. Can't believe they have nothing lined up for Ishii.

I don't know about Yano vs Suzuki, but it seems surplus to requirements to me.

 

A prolonged push as a tag team fixture with Yoshi-Hashi would be a start for Ishii.
