Childs Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 This was a lot better than the tag match because at least there was a clear story: In order to win the big one, Briscoe would have to overcome outside interference and Steen destroying his bum shoulder. Now, the execution of the outside stuff, with ROH loyalists coming to Briscoe's defense, wasn't great and didn't totally connect with the crowd. But Steen's work on the shoulder came across pretty well, with both guys calling back to it late in the match. And the run of big moves at the end was overdone but not sooo overdone. So yeah, solid big-show main event, though not something I'm likely to revisit. Quote
