Say what you want, but even after all these years, Hogan saying someone's name or acknowledging them still makes them seem important to me. This was a big crowd pleasing segment and I think it was another way for WWE to signal to their audience that Daniel Bryan is the guy now. I think they could go overboard with the endorsements to a point that it goes against Bryan's appeal, but doing this once isn't a bad thing at all.
