I have a friend who's getting a lot of indy bookings as a ref and I want to show him Tommy's best stuff. BillThompson Posted April 28, 2014 Report Share Posted April 28, 2014 I'm not sure if I can provide any examples of him being great in a match, because his ability to blend into a match was part of his greatness. That's what I most took away from Young; though he could bump great and sell great, he almost always made everything he did as a ref seem organic or right within the contest of the match. Lee Casebolt Posted April 28, 2014 Report Share Posted April 28, 2014 My favorite memory of Young is him sliding out of the ring to get in a position where he could actually see a wrestler's shoulders before counting a pin.
