Loss
Super Astros! WWE thought El Hijo del Santo could be a big star if he would just take off the mask. This is a fun TV match, and Santo does well in the five minute match where he can just show off his highspots. A WCW run where he got lost in the shuffle would have been beneath him, but he would have done okay for himself.
Zenjo
Just the thought of Santo being in WCW or WWF long term makes me shudder.
soup23
4 minutes but a lot of action packed in and Santo looked good here. One thing that has been interesting with 1998 is that some of the biggest names of the 1990's (Flair, Hogan, Santo, Hashimoto) have all had periods of not much going on with this set or complete absences. PeteF3
Crazy to see Santo in this environment. I don't know how the WWF expected this stuff to get over with live Attitude Era crowds, but I guess that's what sound-sweetening is for. Fun quick little TV match, in any event.
