Loss Posted September 24, 2014 Author Report Posted September 24, 2014 Fun tag match to continue the momentum of these four from the night before, with Eddy as the ultimate heel and Juventud having sort of a Stockholm Syndrome relationship with him. Eddy gets great heat in this. Rey is FIP and it takes the crowd a while to really get into this, but Kidman, to his credit, works the apron well and gets everyone pumped up. Eddy and Juventud adapt well as a tag team and even pull out some double team moves, and Rey and Kidman respond in kind after the hot tag. I would have loved to have seen these guys compete in the upcoming tag tournament, as this match makes this look like a feud with potential. Quote
soup23 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 It is an absolute shame that Eddy has the car wreck on New Years Eve as the last two months were great for him and he will be well represented on my year end top 100. Kidman too has aged well and this is one of the better cruiserweight runs they had with focus and great action. The finish of this was good as Eddy and Juvi pick up a big win. (***1/2) Quote
PeteF3 Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 It's '90s cruiserweight action meeting classic southern tag wrasslin', and it works beautifully. There's some sloppiness and miscommunication in the early going that's quickly forgotten about once Rey is getting worked over, and both sides break out some pretty sick double-teams. The LWO picks up a needed win after Kidman ran through them last night. Not a #1 TV match of the year or anything but very, very good. Quote
