Hulk Hogan's entrance music plays and plays, but he doesn't come out, so they switch to Sting's music and Sting does come out. Then Hogan's music plays again and he no-shows yet again. Finally, Hogan comes out dressed in all black and jeans looking pissed off. Hogan and Sting have some type of conversation, then Hogan lays down for Sting to pin him. This was Russo's idea to get rid of Hogan for a while, but building up a world title PPV match and then giving this is a bit of a ripoff.

So stupid. If they wanted to get rid of Hogan, they should have done a injury angle. But that's not Russo. Poor Sting.

If 1% of the fanbase wanted to see stuff like this I would be surprised. The Russo era is going about as well as I remember.

Titles are just props so there's no actual need to get them over or put over the idea that a wrestler would want to win one. It's all about swerving the paying customer.
