These two have always matched up well, so this should be really good. Kanemura adapts really well to the American audience, and in something that can only happen in ECW, earns their respect when he responds to a hostile fan by simulating a blowjob and flipping him off. This was a PPV or TV quality match on a house show, as they went just as all out as they would if TV cameras were rolling with the table spots and big nearfalls. I thought this was excellent.

While this had plenty of hard bumps and weapons shots, this was easier to watch than the Awesome matches. I wish this was Team No Respect version of Kanemura but it wasn't meant to be. Another good ECW house show match. They were on a roll at the time.

Really good match. Kanemura's heeling was cool and I liked him working over the back while in control, though Tanaka doesn't offer much in the way of selling it.
