bestintheworld3589
Ok so I decided to take a fun concept that they do on Place to Be Nation and bring it to PWO. It's called the Monthly All Time SuperCard. The way it works is you go through and pick one match from any WWE PPV that happened that month for every year there was a PPV that month. The Rules are: You can only use one person once unless they have a major character change ie Isaac Yankem & Kane. Something like Hulk Hogan & Hollywood Hogan would not count. The following championships MUST be on the line for every card (WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, & World Tag Team Championship (when they are split into two seprate tag championships you must have the world tag team championships that were on Raw) I find it easiest to book your title matches you want first and then fill out the rest of the card You can have other title matches if you want to For January you must pick just one Royal Rumble match and the people in that Rumble match can still be in another match on the card. Also 1988 counts even though it wasn't an actual PPV for Royal Rumble Also one rule that I'm adding that P2B Nation didn't have is you can use 1 pre-show or dark match if you have to If someone accompanies someone else to the ring in a match that doesn't count as they have to be an active participant. Since March is the WrestleMania month on here and some of the actual WrestleMania's happened in April it messes the April and May months up so here's the rule for that. If April has no other PPV other than WrestleMania you can use a match from the next PPV (May) and then use that same May PPV for the May Card. So for some years you will actually be using two matches from the May PPV. So let's get started January 1988: Ricky Steamboat v.s. Rick Rude 1989: King Haku w/ Bobby Heenan v.s. King Harley Race w/ Bobby Heenan 1990: Ronnie Garvin v.s. Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart (Submission Match) 1991: The Rockers v.s. El Boricua
I enjoy this concept as a fun logic puzzle where your own preferences about matches and wrestlers can influence how it will go. It can get aggravating trying to make it work, but that's part of the fun. I'll get around to posting my cards once I have them done. One issue that tends to cause problems for me is trying to keep straight what counts as distinct gimmicks where they are treated as two different people, and when it's all the same person. Your cards look good, but it looks like you have a couple of repeats for some of the months. January - Have Jericho twice (01 and 08) March - Have Goldust twice (XII and X8) April - Have Mick Foley twice (98 and 99), this is one of those cases where no matter the gimmick it was acknowledged as being the same guy June - Foley used twice (98 and 06), Tommy Dreamer used twice (06 and 09) July - Cena used twice (08 and 11) August - may not be a repeat, but think Headshrinker Fatu (93) and Rikishi (00) are viewed as the same guy September - not a wrestler, but the U.S. title is listed twice (01 and 14), I think WWE acknowledges it all as the same lineage November - an aggravating month to work out, Shelton Benjamin is is used twice (04 and 09), possibly Blue Blazer (88) and Owen Hart (94) , both were acknowledged in storyline as being the same person during Owen's last run Still, it was real good effort. bestintheworld3589
Well thanks for replying to my comment finally someone did lol. Yeah this concept is alot harder than it seems and can get very frustrating especially if you have to re-do certain months over and over like I did. I'm glad I didn't get more than that wrong considering how hard it was. Can't wait to see your cards.

X-Pac June: Changed 1998 to The Headbangers & Taka Michinoku v.s. Kaientai Changed 2009 to CM Punk v.s. Umaga Changed 2011 to Kofi v.s. Ziggler for US Championship July: Changed 2008 to a dark match between Umaga v.s. Mr Kennedy August: Changed 2000 to Tazz v.s. Jerry Lawler September: Keeping this the same since they would do a Unification of the WWE IC and WCW US Championships at Survivor Series 2001 and then they started a whole new tournament to crown the WWE US Champion so I count them as 2 different titles. November: As far as Owen goes I am keeping that the same since it's hard enough to do November as it is plus in both 1988 & 1994 WWE never acknowledged Blazer & Owen as the same person so I feel they can stay the same. Changed 2004 to Undertaker v.s. Heidenreich Changed 2005 to Ric Flair v.s. Triple H (Intercontinental Championship - Steel Cage Match) from Taboo Tuesday Changed 2006 to a dark match between Carlito v.s. Charlie Haas
Bierschwale
I like that series, too, but I always felt that limiting it to just WWF/E and not including the companies under the library now was a mistake. Those first five SuperBrawls are just sitting there for you, guys. But that also gave me the most pointlessly mind-straining dilemma ever when I tried to cook one for September and had to pick between Bret-Lafitte and Mero-Pillman for '95. El Boricua
I've been working on these cards and, while doing so, decided to see if I can do them including the SNME shows into the mix. I have a doubt about how to handle them and wanted to see if anyone would offer their take. With the SNME, you have the date the event was held and taped, and then you have the actual airdate. In quite a few cases, that means that the card was held in one month but aired in a different month. Where do you guys think they would be better assigned, the month it was held or the month it aired?
