JerryvonKramer Posted November 28, 2015 Author Report Posted November 28, 2015 I love the idea that Tito Santana had literally nothing to live for apart from revenge against Martel until he became El Matador. I picture him laying awake all night before Royal Rumble 90 thinking to himself "yes! Tomorrow! I can get my hands on that Rick Martel once more!" His friends are all like, "let it go Tito, he's moved on and doesn't care" and they can see he's still wearing the Strike Force stuff. "You've got to let go Tito!" And eventually, he has to go to hypnotherapy and when he comes out he suddenly thinks he's an actual Matador. Quote
UKWildcat Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 I think Jamie Dundee still wrestles in his PG-13 gear even after Wolfie D changed his name to Slash and got a new look. Bradshaw is another good choice after the Blackjacks broke up. Actually, Jamie would wrestle some as The Convict Quote

Tito vs Rick 89 Summerslam! Quote
Luchaundead Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 There is also Davey Richards started being referred to as "The American Wolf" while he and Eddie were no longer tagging Quote
SteveJRogers Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 In a way Stardust counts, as the gimmick was to align himself with Goldust in that sameness. I don't think Edge ever changed his look after the breakup, at least it took a while for Christian to do so. Quote

Tito vs Rick 89 Summerslam! They were supposed to have a blow off at SummerSlam '90 but Martel got injured (I think) and Warlord ended up beating Santana. Quote
Laz Posted November 29, 2015 Report Posted November 29, 2015 I don't think Edge ever changed his look after the breakup, at least it took a while for Christian to do so. The patterns on his gear changed a little until he started working in cargo pants in '06. When he went back to tights, he used variations on the camo designs of his pants until the "line" happened right around the time he had the Edgeheads and Vicki with him. Quote
