David Bixenspan and The Great Brian Last are back for the last show of 2015 to discuss some supremely ridiculous wrestling topics, including:

  • Jimmy Hart’s talents as a lyricist.
  • The amazing audio of Mario Galento exposing the business on Memphis radio in 1974 released on Beau James’ podcast.
  • The crazy story of Dandy Jack Donovan allegedly being ambushed by Tojo Yamamoto, Jackie Fargo, and Jerry Jarrett. (Jarrett’s version, which we found after we finished the show, is here)
  • Dark Journey being in the colonic business..

And much more, including the latest edition of of Dennis of the Week.

That show was awesome. The Jack Donovan story was just insane. I also really enjoyed the short Michael Hayes on Dallas radio story.

I know it's been said a couple of shows ago, but this show has become definite scheduled listening for me along with Between the Sheets, any OSW/Attitude Era/New Generation shows, and the PTBN group of shows. Good stuff guys.

I'd be curious to see someone delve into NAWA/SAPW history too. I share Brian's curiosity over which markets they had regular TV and for how long. The were on in Richmond, VA for about 6 weeks, soon after they started, ran one show that bombed, and then were off TV 2 weeks later. I can't imagine what they would have been paying as they had a noon Saturday timeslot on the NBC affiliate (#1 in market) which ran it opposite NWA Pro on CBS.
