Microstatistics Posted February 7, 2016 Report Posted February 7, 2016 Miyato is usually terrific in the underdog role but here he excels at playing a bully as well. Typical awesome matwork and Tamura's selling in the final stages was masterful stuff. ****
superkix Posted April 20, 2018 Report Posted April 20, 2018 Miyato played the aggressor here and kept on him with kicks and groundwork, forcing Tamura back to the ropes. He dumps Tamura on his head with a backdrop suplex and Tamura's selling hard but the fight's still in him. Miyato keeps shutting him down with strikes, hitting a solebutt, a high kick and hard knees to keep him down for the TKO win. Quick and hard.
Makai Club #1 Posted June 6, 2021 Report Posted June 6, 2021 Super good opening match. The crowd was hot for the introductions and that carries over to the opening match between the rookie and the respected midcarder. Miyato is the clear senior of the two and he let's Tamura know with his approach to ground Tamura and not give him an inch. Tamura is plucky enough to gain some openings but he's put back down with strikes and loses ultimately. ***1/4
