shoe Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 http://placetobenation.com/this-week-in-wrestling-41716/ Fall 1 Pete and Johnny look at a pretty great mini's match from nwaclassics.com. The guy's discuss the ROH tv show. Did they have a good one. See what the TWIW crew thinks. Fall 2 Timothy joins Pete and they discuss ROH Supercard of Honor Night 1, Progress ch 27, and NJPW Invasion Attack. Which show did the guys like the best? Did Ospreay put it all together in Japan? The guys even speculate about it. Fall 3 Johnny is back and discuss a LOL Edge and Christian show. They break down NXT and Raw. The role of a babyface GM , how it feels fresh after years of it being a heel. Is the role working because it's fresh or are the viewers happy to have Shane on tv? 00:00:30 Fall 100:03:51 Lord Littlebrook vs Bobo Johnson - NWA Classics 24/700:14:48 ROH TV 00:32:53 Fall 200:40:31 Lucha Underground00:54:43 ROH Super Card Of Honor X Night 101:32:34 PROGRESS Chapter 27: The Lost Art Of Suffering01:58:11 NJPW Invasion Attack 2016 02:37:54 Fall 302:38:17 Edge and Christian Show02:45:33 NXT03:01:39 WWE RAW
soup23 Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Yeah, not exactly the Nature Boy of the PWO-PTBN Network.
bradhindsight Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Enjoyed the Supercard of Honor segment. I need to finish the Lethal match and the main event but I'm liking this show more than the 3/12 Philly one. This is probably heavily influenced by the number of singles matches on this card vs. how tag heavy 3/12 was. Spreading the big guys around adds to the overall quality. I liked Cole/ACH a touch more than you guys did. Interesting how loaded the main event is in SanAntonio. To my point above, that's a lot of juice in one scramble match vs. the rest of the card. My ratings so far: Fish/Daniels ***1/2 Roddy/Moose ***3/4 6-man scramble **3/4 Sydal/O'Reilly **** Cole/ACH ***1/2 8-man tag **1/2
soup23 Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 Cole vs. ACH was my third favorite match of the night: My quick hit rankings Fish/Daniels ***3/4 Roddy/Moose ***3/4 6-man scramble *** Sydal/O'Reilly ***1/2 Cole/ACH **** 8-man tag **1/2 Rush/Lethal **** MCMG/Bucks ***

I'm guessing is one of them is Rush v Lethal because it's also at 4* but everything else is lower Enjoyed the Supercard of Honor segment. shoe Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 I have front row for the SA show. I was a little shocked they put the majority of the key talent in the main event .

bradhindsight Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 I have front row for the SA show. I was a little shocked they put the majority of the key talent in the main event . Looks like it's an instant proving ground match so Lethal will face the winner for the title. So probably a good chunk of the show.
bradhindsight Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 I went ****1/4 on Lethal/Rush and then wrote 1800 words on it: http://placetobenation.com/roh-microscope-lio-rush-vs-jay-lethal-at-supercard-of-honor-x/
Luchaundead Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 I really loved this review excited for more I wonder if the cocky bash young upstart character Lio is play in most other places will start to come through more in ROH
