The Flame, Phil Hickerson and Dirty Rhodes is a pretty awesome fat man team. Hickerson and The Flame cutting promos together would be good stuff. A 6 man between them and Lucas, Whatley & Ron Starr would be a hot main event for a small territory like Smoky Mountain. Lucas & Whatley might need to watch out though, Ron Starr has proven to not be the most trustworthy partner at times.

Tom Prichard played a great champion who tries to avoid defending his title in 1989 Continental, I think he probably had the chops to pull it off in late 84.

I'm obviously a big Roy Lee Welch fan so I like what you're doing with him here and am interested to see where his Submission Invitational goes.

6. Tonight's main event sees a Dream Partners Tag match where if Johnny Rich and his partner can win Johnny Rich will receive a Smoky Mountain Heavyweight title match against Tom Pritchard. Johnny Rich and Tom Pritchard with Sunshine are both in the ring, Rick Stewart the ring announcer tonight goes to introduce Johnny Rich's partner only for Sunshine to steal the microphone off Stewart and tells him that he can leave now, Sunshine introduces the only man capable of teaming with "The Star Attraction" Tom Pritchard, BOBBY EATON, reuniting the Heavenly Bodies, Bobby Eaton walks to the ring to a sea of boos. Eaton gets in the ring shakes hands with Pritchard and the pair jump Rich, the 2-on-1 advantage lasts for about minute until there is a commotion at the changing room door. A blonde man makes he's way through a sea of fans, its "WILDFIRE" TOMMY RICH, he jumps into the ring and clears house with left and rights. The match goes for about 25 minutes, when Bobby Eaton misses the Alabama Jam Leg Drop from the top rope on Tommy Rich, and Wildfire clotheslines Eaton over the top rope leaving Johnny Rich to hit the Thesz Press on Pritchard and cover him for the 3 count and the victory for his team, which also entitles him to a Smoky Mountain Heavyweight match against Tom Pritchard. The Rich cousins celebrate in the ring and the losing Heavenly Bodies retreat to the back.

Roy Lee Welch busting out a Full Nelson? Makes me think good ol' Mike Masters should come in and try his hand at that Submission Invitational.

Like your use of The Wild Hoggs, who seem to be kind of Moondog stand-ins.

I liked the surprises in the main event and The Rich Cousins vs. Prichard & Eaton would have been a really good match.

He tells Thatcher that he won fair and square and he’s just glad he doesn’t have to deal with Johnny Rich again. Thatcher says he doesn’t know if he believes what happened on Monday night, but it’ll stand, but says he’s now in a situation to name a number one contender, and that’ll be determined in a battle royale this Monday night where the winner will face Tom Pritchard later on in the evening, there will be some new face’s in the battle royale including Canadian superstar Bret Hart. I love this! It has that feel a a small NWA territory of the 1980's. The wrestlers are the only ones who know it is small. The announcers do a great job of hyping things up. The gimmicks and feuds seem so real. Reminds me of a few week period when I was young that the USA network carried Southwest Championship Wrestling. After just a few weeks I thought Bob Sweetan was the best wrestler in the World. That is how you make Tom Pritchard, Johhn Rich, Roy Lee Welch and the Wild Hogs feel. PERFECT!

The opening credits roll and we are shown clips of the wild brawl between Johnny Rich and Eric Embry which ended up in the concession stand. We pan to Rick Stewart and Les Thatcher at the announcer’s desk as they welcome the fans to another exciting week of wrestling action on the Power Hour. Ron Starr and Ken Lucas come out to join the announcers desk, Ken Lucas apologises to Ron Starr for accidentally eliminating Starr this past Monday, Ron Starr says these sort of things happen and they can put it behind it, Les Thatcher says he was really impressed with the showing both men put into the battle royale this week and he is willing to give one of them a second chance at getting a title match, so this Monday we will see Ken Lucas face off with Ron Starr for the chance to face the winner of the Smoky Mountain heavyweight title match this Monday that will be announced later. Starr and Lucas both look at each other, and agree the best man will win. Thatcher says tonight they will be in action as a tag team against the number one contenders for the Smoky Mountain Tag Team Championship The Rock N Roll RPMs.

=== Commercial ===

This week’s first match sees the Smoky Mountain Tag Team Champions The Wild Hoggs face off with 4 men in a Hoggs Rules match, their 4 opponents are Greg Cooley, Gene Ligon, Steve Dunn and Robert Reed. The rules are simply, there are no rules, the match can only end by pinful. All 6 men are in the ring as the Hoggs quickly take control and punish their 4 opponents with some brutal offence. The Hoggs get the win after 4 minutes of punishment.

=== Run down of this week’s action coming to Smoky Mountain area ===

Following the break we go to Rick Stewart and Les Thatcher, both men are coughing and there is smoke surrounding them, the camera moves out and we have a smartly dressed South American gentlemen sitting with them smoking a large cigar in an expensive suit. He introduces himself as Hugo Savinovich and he works for HS International, Les Thatcher politely ask’s him to put out his cigar out, Savinovich refuses and tell Thatcher he clearly doesn’t know who he is. Savinovich goes on to say that he’s here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to take over Smoky Mountain Wrestling and make as much money as he can for HS International. He goes on to say he has travelled the world finding the best talent he can, and he would like to introduce his first client, Hiro Saito, Saito comes to the ring for his debut match. In the ring already is Mike Jackson, Saito gets in the ring, and before the introductions can be made Saito attacks Jackson, Saito shows an impressive arsenal of offence and finishes off Jackson with a bridging german suplex. Savinovich stays on commentary, continuing to smoke his cigar, while putting over his man, Hugo also tells Stewart and Thatcher that he has his eye on a certain member of the Smoky Mountain Wrestling roster and negotiations have begun with that man, Savinovich and Saito leave the commentary area.

=== Commercial ===

We return with Bret Hart joining Rick Stewart and Les Thatcher for an interview, Hart says he glad to be in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and he thinks he has Tom Pritchards number and he’s out here to ask for another title match, he beat Tom Pritchard this week and wants him again. Les Thatcher say’s Bret Hart was really unlucky this past Monday with his count out victory against Tom Pritchard and he’s willing to give Hart a rematch this week, Tom Pritchard and Sunshine coming storming out screaming and shouting, Pritchard asks Thatcher if there is some sort of vendetta against him? First he gave endless title matches to Johnny Rich and now to Bret Hart, Hart interjects himself and tells Pritchard, who is getting hotter and hotter, that he won’t have to worry about facing endless rematches because this week will be the end of his title reign and he will be a fighting champion. Tom Pritchard and Sunshine storm off after this as Bret Hart makes his way to the ring for his match today. Bret Hart is facing off with one half of the Midnight Rockers Shawn Michaels, the match goes for about 5 minutes before Bret Hart is jumped by Tom Pritchard which ends the match. Pritchard continued his attack until Hart managed to turn the tables and he attack is on the heavyweight champion, until the locker room empties to split the pair up.

=== Run down of this week’s action coming to Smoky Mountain area ===

Following the break we return with today’s main event, Ron Starr and Ken Lucas are already in the ring as the number one contenders for the Smoky Mountain Tag Team titles the Rock N Roll RPMs Mike Davis and Tommy Lane make their way to the ring. The match gets underway with neither team taking advantage, the match goes for about 9 minutes when Ron Starr has taken complete control of the match and looks like he will get the win, he nails Mike Davis with a short armed clothesline and goes for the cover only for Tommy Lane to jump in a break up the cover, Lucas joins the other 3 in the ring and all 4 men brawl, when Lucas accidently clotheslines Ron Starr, when Lane ducked, and Davis rolls Starr up for the 3 count at 10 minutes for the victory. Lane and Davis slip out of the ring, while Ken Lucas apologises to Ron Starr for the mistake, Ron Starr doesn’t look happy, but shakes Lucas hand and they leave together. We return to Rick Stewart and Les Thatcher who run down todays results and the line-up for this Monday, when there is some noise and commotion at the back of the gym, a man is making his way through the crowd, it’s Eric Embry. He walks over to the announcers table, Les Thatcher says he doesn’t work here and is calling for security, Embry gets on the mic, Rick Stewart is telling the back to go to the credits, Embry looks into the camera and says he’ll be in Knoxville on Monday and Rich better be there and then walks off. From nowhere Johnny Rich comes charging out and attacks Embry and a brawl starts just as we cut to the closing credits.

I just like the overall feel of having Hiro Saito paired with Hugo Savinovich. Good fit for your territory. Didn't even realize that he was in the free agency list. Unless you've started the Japanese attractions without telling us? :P

No no no, working that with Low Blow at the moment. Hiro Saito had a run with goc in Southwest, after reading his shows he seemed a good fit.
