JKWebb Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I thought Dibiase did a really great job of selling leg damage in this one. The finish is a little abrupt, but Hansen puts on a pretty good show on the outside of the ring and while he's on the apron throughout the match. I liked when Yatsu tried to attack Hansen on the outside near their (Hansen & Dibiase's) corner, but he slaps him and tells him to bring it on. It's a good match.
JKWebb Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 I forgot to note in the topic this in All Japan.
G. Badger Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 A great energetic match! Hansen and DiBiase gave remarkable performances. Yatsu and Nakano were vicious in attacking both villiains' knees. If you want working-a-limb psychology that's exciting, watch this! Remarkable selling by Ted & a great emotional performance by Stan. Tough as dirt Yatsu and gutsy Nakano taking it to the larger than life tag champs. Great match! Again, watch this!
tcg91 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago This was better than it looked on paper, as the underdog challengers managed to find an opening by targeting DiBiase's knee, making their control segment somewhat believable. Hansen/Yatsu was the best stuff here, but they clearly didn't touch too much to tease future matches, so there was too much of Nakano here maybe. Hansen was on one leg too at one point, teasing further problems, but this was put to break by a disappointing non-finish. **3/4
