SPS Posted March 22, 2017 Report Share Posted March 22, 2017 This was the first show that I got to watch Japanese Pro Wrestling online way back in the early 2000's and the first time I got to see Japanese wrestlers outside of when they'd come to North American promotions. They covered all sorts of Japanese matches and promotions from the eighties to the early 00's. This show to me was great for getting a variety of cool matches you heard about and people traded tapes for along with some english commentary to help you fill in the story lines and who each wrestler was and their background. I had forgotten all about this show until I recently came across their youtube channel(seems to be abandoned). I also found their old website and they have a whole page with their older episodes and a twitter link and forum but both are lifeless/taken down. They had a relaunch it seems around 2013 with 9 episodes uploaded to their youtube channel but other than that there seems to be nothing about them online today. I'm bringing this up since the fine folks on this site seem to have long memories and connections and interactions from the various boards across the years, so I wanted to know more about who these 2 guys The Great Riki and Dan Ginnetty are? also to ask people on here of any memories of this show. Can't understand why ;-) The website Toukon theatre is still up, but those torrents take forever to download! The show relaunch did occur in 2013, and we have done almost 40 episodes since then. Only an hour long now, but it is still fun to do. If you are interested in watching our old episodes, or the relaunch episodes, I uploaded almost all of them to my Google Drive account. I also uploaded some of our talk show called The Wrestling Scene. It was a live show with callers. I spent most of my time trying to talk about anything but wrestling, but it was a good time! I'm even taking some of the clips from the news bits & Ringside segments and putting them up with little info tidbits on them.
