ShittyLittleBoots Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 This happened 10 years ago. It's pretty wild to think that KENTA is the only one who hasn't retired from in-ring competition out of the 4. This just had super fun, hot interactions between 4 of the best wrestlers in the world - Bryan & Nigel, Bryan & KENTA, Morishima & Nigel, Morishima & KENTA. Great atmosphere, great sequences, FIP segments, hot tags, an all-time great balls-to-the-walls finishing stretch - this truly had it all. Terrific match; one of the best tags ROH has ever put on & a helluva way for ROH to debut in the PPV biz. ****1/2
ohtani's jacket Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I thought this was pretty average. it was really four singles stars meandering about in what might as well have been a fatal four way give how little teamwork there was. There were some decent exchanges between Danielson and McGuinness and Danielson/KENTA, but they felt isolated from any sort of narrative. The most experienced tag worker, KENTA, was under-utilized, and I can't really see what people see in Morishima. He looks like the love child of Riki Choshu and Terry Gordy and was basically a lump of clay for McGuinness to work with. Perhaps some of his singles stuff is better.
