soup23 Posted July 17, 2017 Report Posted July 17, 2017 Mochizuki vs Bobby Blaze is a complete wtf novelty match on paper but this actually turned out to be pretty fun with Blaze in particular doing a good sell job on his leg. Mochi works it over throughout the match and locks in a wide variety of submissions to keep things interesting. Blaze’s comebacks were well placed and gave the crowd just enough hope that he could pull this one out. I liked the rollup that was the finish. Fun match. *** (5.9)
cheapshot Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 I enjoyed this for what it was. Nice surprise to see Bobby Blaze appear in Michinoku Pro. I particularly enjoyed the stiff kicks by Mochizuki, working over Blaze's leg. The last few minutes were particularly fun, especially the finish. Not a fan however of Blaze's faux Cowboy boots, which where basically sneakers with cowboy boot looking kickpads. Also, it appeared Blaze thought he was working a Bunkhouse match with his attire. ***
Tim Evans Posted November 12, 2017 Report Posted November 12, 2017 Such a random match that I can't help but love. I had no idea Bobby wrestled after he was released from WCW. This actually wasn't too bad as Moch worked the leg and did some good heel stuff and Blaze sold well. This was like a WCW worldwide match in Japan. Fun match.
