Worked in the same vein of the aforementioned match with the utter chaos, bleeding, brawling, drama, heated crowd and amazing Terry Funk selling and gruesome gusher. Everyone play their role perfectly, but this is still the Terry Funk show. Great match. Quote

I dug all the shenanigans with the heels hiding their spike, but this really got going when Terry Funk got busted open and gave us some of the most intense facials ever and his convulsing selling was incredibly believable. I prefer the '77 match as that was more explosive, but this was still a lot of fun. ★★★★ Quote
