Who is more important for pro wrestling history?

This poll is about historical importance, obiouvsly not about who is a better worker.

The comparisons are:

1)Randy Savage vs Mitsuharu Misawa

2)Ultimate Warrior vs Chris Jericho

3)Jake Roberts vs Kurt Angle

4)Akira Taue vs Jeff Hardy

5)Edge vs Rick Rude

This is a weird set of questions.

1)Randy Savage vs Mitsuharu Misawa

Misawa is more important to AJPW than Savage to WWF but WWF is more important to wrestling history than AJPW ...

2)Ultimate Warrior vs Chris Jericho

 

I think history flatters Warrior a little bit, he never drew as well as you might think, and I suspect Jericho was a bigger draw when he was champ and that the whole Y2J period was a bigger deal than Warrior's time on top. So I would say Jericho.

 

3)Jake Roberts vs Kurt Angle

 

I think it's Kurt Angle. He was a legit gold medalist and came in during a smoking hot period and became a main event draw. Jake did some cool stuff, but surely Angle winning every single belt in record time is more important both from a kayfabe perspective and just in general.

 

4)Akira Taue vs Jeff Hardy

 

Probably Jeff Hardy for pioneering monkey flip flip wrestling.

 

5)Edge vs Rick Rude

 

Rick Rude just because I hate Edge.

Misawa - He was the biggest star in Japan when business was booming and then parlayed that into forming one of the best promotions of the 00s. Savage was an amazing act in his own right, but he was essentially Hogan's bridesmaid.

Jericho - This NJPW excurion sealed the deal.

Angle - At least he showed up to work, Roberts constantly shot himself in the foot. The only legacy Roberts has is as a mentor to others.

Taue - Hardy had similar issues as Jake, he was his own worst enemy. Taue was a more prominent figure with bigger cache with the audience.

Edge - No contest, the Rated R Superstar.

Misawa. Ace of a major company and the poster boy for King's Road, a style that has influenced all wrestling after it.

Jericho. Regardless of draw capability, Jericho finds a way to reinvent himself and stay relevant each time you start to feel like counting him out. His gung ho attitude toward AEW may also tip the balance back to wrestlers in terms of negotiating.

Jake Roberts. Angle may be the bigger draw and name, but Roberts is heralded for his legendary promo work and ring psychology. On top of that, his battles with substance abuse and the last few years where he's cleaned up has to be influencing many an older talent, let alone any fan that faced similar issues.

Jeff Hardy. One half of one of the most popular teams ever, involved in some of WWE's most memorable gimmick matches, and clearly a direct influence on a lot of the spotty guys after him (as Parv noted).

I chose "draw" for Edge/Rude. If pushed far enough I'll choose Edge on credentials alone, but I'm not sure if I've heard of a great talent in the last 20 years who said "(Edge/Rude) is why I entered the ring."
