You really can't go wrong with Buddy in his prime. He has so many quality performances its insane. The entire Portland buisness model was based around Buddy working long 2/3 Falls matches every single week. So we have tons of long singles, tags & multi man tags all based around Buddy wearing a variety of different hats against a variety of different wrestlers. One week he's cowardly bumping & stooging, the next he's a vicious killer. He's always working differnet matches because he's always working long matches in front of the same crowd (PDX was real small time, you'll see a lot of the same people in the crowd as the years go by) so he had to switch things up.

Its so frustrating because he always had a reputation as an all time great its just Portland tapes weren't widely traded during his career so he was sort of a "lost" great even during his prime. But he had a huge reputation within the business and peopel who have gone back and watched him in bulk really have kind of unanimously agreed he's an all timer.
Its not like someone like Lawler who works such a niche & specific style. Buddy can do workrate.. He can brawl. He can bump. He can do comedy. He can do Movez. Brilliant psychologist. Face or heel. He's really everything you could want from a wrestler in his prime.

So in about 10 minutes we'll be starting the Jon Moxley Watch Party! We'll be looking at his early indie career, a few WWE matches and his post-WWE run as well.

Tomorrow at 9pm EST we'll watching the 2nd half of AJW Queendom 1994, which English subtitles for the promos (you'll be the first people anywhere on the internet to see this).

Next Sunday we'll be watching 2 hours of Rick Martel - 9pm Sunday.
