JHawk Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 How did these six guys go at it at such a frantic pace for so long? Wow! I wish I was more fluent in Spanish though, as with normal captain's rules (which I assume this was under) I couldn't figure out when the first fall ended and the second one began even with the graphics telling me what fall they were in. That being said, I loved this match. Just an awesome way to spend 20-25 minutes.
Loss Posted October 1, 2007 Author Report Posted October 1, 2007 Santo and Casas were the captains I believe. To me, this is most notable for that insane Santo dive, and also getting to see him as Hollywood Hogan in Mexico. 1996 was the year of babyface icons turning heel, but this blew away any examples of that in WCW.
Tim Evans Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Man this makes me want to see Rudo Santo vs big star Tecnico Mistico in CMLL right now. Rudo Santo was so sureal cause you never thought it would happen. Question Loss, Why didn't you include the Santo as Felino angle? That's what kickstarted this feud and would have been great on here.
sek69 Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Heel Santo is just awesome. I never got to see him in action until now, and Loss is right that this blows away anything WCW was doing in 1996. How long did the heel turn last?
Tim Evans Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Rewatching this match now and God it's still awesome. Did Dandy vs Santo ever happen? Hector Garza almost breaks his neck in the last fall.
