"Onita Goes to Hollywood"

Due to mounting debts, legal pressures, and his 1995 retirement from FMW, Atsushi Onita has relocated to the United States to pursue acting. After being impressed with Bret Hart's appearance in Lonesome Dove, coupled with the box office success of 1995's Rumble in the Bronx starring Jackie Chan, Onita decided that Los Angeles is the perfect location to start his new career as an action film star.

After moving into a hotel in Hollywood, Onita starts the process of auditions, acting lessons and seeking representation in the acting field. However, after six months, Onita becomes disillusioned with the early rejections from casting directors and craves a return to the wrestling world. Onita falls into heavy drinking, hanging out in Hollywood poker rooms almost in total anonymity, getting into fights, and sleeping with various LA escorts. 

At the same time, the bubble has burst on the Japanese deathmatch scene. IWA Japan has closed it's doors, and Victor Quinones is also seeking greener pastures. Seeing the rise of ECW on the east coast of the United States, Quinones contacts former W*ING Owner Kiyoshi Ibaragi about the possibility of investing in a new wrestling venture based out of Los Angeles. Upon speaking with Ibaragi, Quinones learns that Onita is currently residing in Los Angeles and would be open to serving as a figurehead for the new promotion called W*ING USA. Onita agrees to join Ibaragi and Quinones, along with further investment from Onita's wealthy stepfather, to open a large warehouse/office to host the events in Hollywood. Onita also lives inside the venue.

The first phone call Onita makes is to Terry Funk. Funk wants to wrestle against his family's wishes, but Onita manages to convince him to serve in a commentary role in order to give more exposure to the younger talent. Funk begrudgingly accepts this as a favor to Onita, with the understanding he would return to the ring once W*ING USA has established it's younger core to the new audience. Onita also contacts former ECW valet Kimona Wanalaya about serving in an office role as Onita's personal secretary and backstage interviewer onscreen. Tarzan Goto is brought in as Onita's bodyguard and locker room enforcer. 

W*ING USA relies mostly on tape trading for it's major shows but it will be presented chronologically for this project.  Through a liberal performing arts grant received by Onita, W*ING USA has a monthly one hour show on LA public access to promote the monthly bigger events that are distributed on VHS. There are two shows that will be posted each month (TV and the VHS taping). The first taped event will be entitled '96 Tears. Everything is built to the 1st Anniversary Show that will be held in a larger venue (not sure exactly where). There will also be surprise "pop up" shows in cities where the other promotions run their flagship events (Wrestlemania, Starrcade, etc). 

Episode #1 of W*ING TV begins with Ibaragi picking up the phone and calling Onita to launch the promotion......

• W*ING USA Owner Atsushi Onita will be in attendance to provide W*ING USA's mission statement, alongside the announcement of the three competitors who will fight for the Grand Championship in a triple threat Heaven or Hell ladder match at W*ING USA's inaugural special taped event, '96 Tears. Onita promises to take aim at other promotions in a fiery promo you won't want to miss!
   
• In a Trios Championship qualifier match, Dr. Wagner Jr., Super Crazy, and Mascarita Sagrada Jr. will square off against the team of Vampiro, Damian 666, and Virus. The winning team will advance to the W*ING USA Trios Championship battle royal eliminator match at '96 Tears. The last three remaining members in that battle royal will advance their teams to the trios WarGames final to determine the championship at W*ING USA's second taped event, Bloodstar. The winner of the trios battle royal at '96 Tears will be the final team to enter WarGames for the titles at Bloodstar. First show looks great! The trios match sounds very tasty on paper. Lots of interesting teams in the trios battle royal as well.  The Turbo Violence tournament is looking quite nice too.

Thanks @Control21. Hopefully the trios title situation makes sense, it was a bit hard to convey. The setup is kinda convoluted, however I didn't want to run a bunch of tournaments, and I liked the premise. I got everybody on my wishlist for this project and I have a lot of different ideas for future programming.

Cobra makes his way through the ropes and grabs a microphone. Tarzan Goto instantly gets in Cobra’s face!

Onita (laughing): What the hell do you want? Why are you here?

Cobra: Why am I here? WHY AM I HERE?! YEEEEOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

Onita: …Because WWF doesn’t want you?

Crowd: OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Cobra: Onita, you want to rip on WCW? I have a proposition for you. Let me bring my friends into the trios battle royal at ‘96 Tears and we’ll prove we’re the best wrestlers in the world!

Onita: You’re not Sting, buddy…but you got good size. You wanna get your ass beat in the battle royal? Fine, I am in a generous mood…bring your “friends” with you!

Just then, Sandman unloads on Cobra with a Singapore Cane shot that busts Cobra open! Cobra exits the ring and rushes to the back bleeding after getting his spot in the battle royal at ‘96 Tears.

A solid TV match between these six wrestlers. At one point, Vampiro blindsides Sagrada with a superkick that sends him flying off the apron into the guard rail. The mini’s worked in some razzle dazzle and low jinks. Super Crazy finishes the match with a triple moonsault on Damian 666. Dr. Wagner Jr. 's team advances to the battle royal. Super Crazy and Damian 666 will be facing off again one on one at ‘96 Tears in a Turbo Violence Championship 1st round tournament match.

A classy and clean match takes place as Kudo and Blayze shake hands to start. Both give it everything to win as Blayze gets a close pinfall on Kudo. Kudo shows tremendous fighting spirit throughout and finishes Blayze with the Kudo Driver (Vertebreaker) to win the W*ING USA Women’s Championship! Streamers fly into the ring as referee Steve Corino hands the title to Kudo!

Winner: Megumi Kudo

Kloss: What a beautiful match, what a launch for the Queen of the Deathmatch and WING USA!

Just then, Aja Kong, Shark Tsuchiya and Combat Toyoda rush to the ring and attack Kudo! Victor Quinones walks to the ring clapping his hands.

Kloss: Are you kidding me?! This was an incredible moment for Kudo!

Aja Kong throws Kudo to the canvas as Shark and Combat stomp on Alundra Blayze. Aja picks up Kudo and hits her with a Steiner Screwdriver! The beatdown continues until Hayabusa, Tarzan Goto and others from the locker room rush to the ring and the heels bail out! Hayabusa tends to Kudo and hands her the Women’s Championship and raises the arms of Kudo and Blayze together as the show goes off the air.

What a fun action packed  show that was. I really enjoyed that show. Very solid outing. I enjoyed your writing style and I loved the promos done it this episode. 

I got a kick out the shots that were took. Very entertaining and I’m sure that NWA will have some people say a few things.

W*ING is fairly obscure, I discovered it while lurking on pWo, actually. A lot of W*ING is heavily clipped and there is no commentary. I'd say W*ING absolutely influenced Lucha Underground later on, Pentagon Jr. wore a W*ING hat on an episode of LU. Have you watched any FMW? I'd probably check out FMW first before W*ING if you're not familiar.

Damian 666 throws Super Crazy at the guard rail and Super Crazy jumps onto the rail and moonsaults back into Damian 666! Referee Steve Corino begins to count as the match is under count out rules. Both men make their way back into the ring and continue to fight.

Super Crazy takes advantage off a tornado DDT. Virus gets up on the apron to cause a distraction and Corino implores Virus to get off the ring. As Corino is arguing with Virus, Vampiro walks down the aisle to ringside. Corino goes over to Vampiro demanding him to leave, when Virus slides a pair of brass knuckles to Damian 666. While Vampiro is getting into Corino’s face, Damian 666 kayoes Super Crazy with the brass knuckles, rendering Super Crazy unconscious! Damian 666 picks up Super Crazy and hits a standing muscle buster to finish and advance in the Turbo Violence tournament.

Kris Kloss: If you want to call that a win, Damian 666 is moving on in the Turbo Violence tournament. 

Terry Funk: I question if this kid Corino is ready to officiate the chaos we are going to see here in WING USA.

Dave Meltzer: Corino, actually, y'know, he’s a pretty good prospect. Corino has wrestled on some of the smaller east coast indies. Onita must see something in Corino to put him in the middle of the mayhem.

Kris Kloss: Blayze will be seeking revenge tonight from the ambush that we witnessed on the debut of WING TV. There’s no sign of Quinones and it looks like Combat is on her own for this match.

Dave Meltzer: That was one of, y’know, maybe the most entertaining and action packed premieres I can ever recall.

Blayze and Combat worked a hard hitting, back and forth match. Combat hits a powerslam and lays into Blayze with strikes. Combat misses a Vader Bomb and Alundra takes the momentum. Huge headkick by Blayze knocks Combat backwards. Blayze keeps the pressure on and drills Toyoda with a roaring elbow to secure the win!

Kris Kloss: A great win for Blayze, I’m pleasantly surprised we didn’t see Kong or Quinones interfere. Coming up is a match fans have been clamoring for since it was announced…The Dynamite Kid versus The Great Sasuke! The Great Sasuke enters through the ropes and streamers fly. Sasuke bows and shakes hands with the Dynamite Kid.

Crowd: DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

Dynamite shows he has some gas left in the tank in the early going, executing a Tiger Mask tribute exchange with flips and kip ups! Dynamite power slaps Sasuke and grabs a headlock! Sasuke fires Dynamite into the ropes and Dynamite Kid charges back with a shoulder block!

Crowd: KID OH! KID OH! KID OH!

Sasuke gets back to his feet and comes back with a stiff kick to Dynamite’s kidneys. Dynamite Kid is visibly shaken from the kick and Sasuke connects with another stinger to Dynamite’s ribs. The Dynamite Kid fires back with chops but he has already started to favor his ribs. 

Sasuke seizes on Dynamite and hits a backbreaker. Sasuke applies a boston crab and Dynamite Kid is fading. Dynamite Kid struggles successfully to the ropes and Corino breaks the hold.

Crowd: KID OH! KID OH! KID OH!

Dynamite Kid begins to recover in the corner as Sasuke charges at him! Dynamite Kid lifts his legs and rolls Sasuke into a sunset flip! 1!...2!...Sasuke kicks out!

Now Sasuke is pissed! Sasuke hits a combination of strikes and tosses Dynamite Kid to the outside. Sasuke hits the ropes and connects with a Sasuke Special to the outside!

Sasuke throws Dynamite Kid back into the ring. Sasuke sets Dynamite Kid on the top rope for a superplex but gets shoved off! Time to fly for Dynamite Kid! The headbutt lands! Neither man is moving!

Dynamite gets back to his feet and attempts a tombstone piledriver. Sasuke reverses it and drives Dynamite’s head into the mat with his own tombstone!! Sasuke lifts Dynamite Kid off the canvas and connects with a tiger suplex! 1!..2!…3! It’s over! The Great Sasuke advances into the second round of the Turbo Violence tournament!

Dave Meltzer: What a poignant ending for a trailblazer like the Dynamite Kid. I mean, wow.

Kris Kloss: An iconic moment for W*ING USA. The Great Sasuke will advance to the second round and face the winner of TAKA Michinoku versus Dr. Wagner Jr. on WING TV. Meanwhile, Damian 666 has moved on to face the winner of Vampiro vs. “Daredevil” Jeff Hardy! That could get interesting if Vampiro advances and faces his teammate Damian 666! Let’s go ahead and take a look now at a young up and coming superstar, “Daredevil” Jeff Hardy!

A highlight package plays of young Jeff being a rebellious teenager riding dirtbikes, playing guitar and jumping off his roof. Other highlights are shown of Hardy performing the swanton bomb on the local indies.

Kris Kloss: “Real Nature Boy” Buddy Landel, Cobra and “Double” CW Anderson? Do they think they work for WCW? Are they trying to get a job here? They don’t belong in WING USA! 

The bell rings and battle royal begins. Within thirty seconds, Cobra is thrown over the top and eliminated by Jason The Terrible!! Cobra furiously pounds on the ring in frustration!

Cobra: DAMMIT! YEEEOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!

Crowd: YEEOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!

Cobra holds up three fingers towards Landel and Anderson and heads towards the back.

Robert Gibson is eliminated next, followed by Super Crazy, by Jason The Terrible. Wing Kanemura is next over the top by the Headhunters. A lot of brawling everywhere as Dr. Wagner Jr. is tossed out. Jeff Hardy is thrown into the corner where Landel charges and flair flips over the buckle and is eliminated! “Mr. Danger” Matsunaga is next to be eliminated by Mr. Pogo! As Pogo stares at Matsunaga, Jeff Hardy and Ricky Morton double dropkick Pogo over the top!! Sagrada whips off the ropes but gets caught by “Double” CW Anderson with a spinebuster! Anderson turns around and sees Super Leather and begins to beg off! Super Leather clotheslines Anderson over the top! Five teams remain as Cobra’s group is wiped out! Sagrada runs into the Headhunters and is thrown into the front row!

Kris Kloss: Four teams remain and only three will advance to the WarGames at Bloodstar!

Ricky Morton is carried out by Crypt Keeper but Morton holds on and takes Crypt Keeper with him! Jeff Hardy is the sole survivor remaining for his trio! Jeff Hardy hits a jawbreaker on Headhunter A! Masato Tanaka attempts a roaring elbow but Hardy ducks and sends Tanaka outside!

Kris Kloss: The three teams have been decided for WarGames at Bloodstar! He did it! Jeff Hardy and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will face Sonny Onoo’s Nightmare Network and Victor Quinones’ faction of Mr. Pogo and the Headhunters for the WING USA Trios Championship! 

Terry Funk: The odds are stacked against them in a cage!

Jeff Hardy is eliminated next by Super Leather after having secured their spot in WarGames. The remaining wrestlers are Super Leather, Jason the Terrible, Headhunter A and Headhunter B. They begin brawling as the crowd is eating it up!

Crowd: DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

The Headhunters eliminate Jason the Terrible and Super Leather! Headhunter B eliminates himself and the battle royal concludes!

Kris Kloss: A wild and chaotic battle royal! Mr. Pogo and the Headhunters will be the final team to enter WarGames! That might be a bloodbath when you talk about Sonny Onoo’s monsters locked inside a double-ring cage! 

Terry Funk: That Daredevil kid impressed the hell out of me.

Dave Meltzer: Umm yeah, like, so Jeff actually has a brother also on the freelance scene named Matt. It will be interesting to see where their careers go, y’know?

Kris Kloss: Well gentleman, is it now time to determine the first ever WING USA Grand Champion! We have Hayabusa, Hakushi, “Gladiator” Mike Awesome and The Sandman in a ladder Heaven or Hell deathmatch! Even dating back to FMW, the story has been…can Hayabusa win “the big one”? Does Onita trust him with the torch of WING USA?

Dave Meltzer: I mean, wow, I don’t know if we’re allowed to go there…but Onita has expressed doubts in the past about Hayabusa. Whether, like, he can draw. If Hayabusa is hardcore enough. But, y’know, Onita exempted Hayabusa and placed him in this match so he recognizes Hayabusa is a superstar. By the way, I spoke with Hakushi earlier today, and he informed me that he is going back to the name Jinsei Shinzaki.

Kris Kloss: Then you throw in “Gladiator”. Awesome is a part of trios team with Crash and Bash, The Terminators, who have to debut for WING USA.

Dave Meltzer: ECW expressed a lot of interest in Mike Awesome before their transition to the NWA. 

Kris Kloss: …And of course, as we saw on WING TV, The Sandman is ready to make a statement at '96 Tears as the first Grand Champion! Let’s get ready for entrances!

During opening introductions, streamers fly into the ring. The bell rings and the match begins. Sandman kicks the ladder staged in the center of the ring into Gladiator’s face and then brutalizes Shinzaki with the Singapore Cane! Gladiator picks the ladder up off the mat and gets a springboard dropkick by Hayabusa! Gladiator rolls out of the ring and Hayabusa runs off the ropes with a baseball slide ramming the ladder under the ropes and into Awesome! Hayabusa gets up and it's AIR HAYABUSA over the top onto Awesome! 

Gladiator gets back to his feet and wanders over to a bin that has filled with weapons on each side of the ring. Gladiator opens the lid and pulls out light tubes!

Crowd: OOHHHH!! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

Awesome busts one of the tubes over Hayabusa’s head, shattering the glass on the outside. Hayabusa goes to the ground and Gladiator breaks two more tubes over Hayabusa! 

Inside the ring, Sandman and Shinzaki are trading blows. Shinzaki gets control of the Singapore Cane and wallops the Sandman! Shinzaki tries to choke Sandman with the Cane as the ladder remains outside of the ring. 

Gladiator tosses the ladder over the top rope and onto Shinzaki’s head, breaking up the chokehold. Awesome gets back in the ring and decks Shinzaki with a clothesline. Hayabusa begins to stand up outside the ring, and Awesome flies hitting Hayabusa with a suicide dive of his own!

Crowd: DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

Kris Kloss: This is what WING USA is ALL ABOUT! The Grand Championship hangs in the balance!

Sandman hits Shinzaki with a DDT and sets up the ladder underneath the title. Awesome climbs back into the ring and Sandman grabs the Cane. Sandman mollywops Gladiator repeatedly in the skull, breaking the Cane into pieces!

Hayabusa gets up on the outside and pulls a barbwire board out of the container! Hayabusa slides the razor sharp board into the ring!

Crowd: DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

Seeing the board in the ring, Sandman exits the other side and heads toward the other weapons container. Sandman flips open the lid and….Mr. Pogo pops out like a Jack in the Box and blows an enormous fireball from point blank into Sandman’s face!!

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

The fire quickly starts to get out of control as the ring apron catches on fire!!! WING security rushes to the ring with fire extinguishers to put out the flames! The fans are running towards the back as the fire is being contained!

Pogo gets out of the container with his Scythe connected to a long chain that he wraps around the throat of the blinded Sandman! Pogo starts to tear into Sandman’s forehead causing Sandman to bleed as he is being strangled with the chain! WING security tries to throw water on Sandman’s face and pull Pogo off!

*New Jack’s Theme Plays - “Natural Born Killaz” by Dr. Dre ft. Ice Cube*

Kris Kloss: IT’S NEW JAAAAACK!!!!!

New Jack runs to the ring while carrying a metal trashcan that he tosses full blast at Victor Quinones who has emerged from the back! (crowd pops) New Jack begins swinging on Mr. Pogo who releases the chain from around Sandman’s neck. The Headhunters come out with chairs and bash New Jack from behind as “Natural Born Killaz” continues to blare through the speakers! 

Then entering through the crowd are Balls Mahoney and Mikey Whipwreck! They begin to fight off the Headhunters! It’s bedlam everywhere as Shinzaki, Hayabusa and Awesome struggle for the ladder inside the ring!

Dave Meltzer: Guys I can’t hear you right now! But I think that fire spot was, y’know, very dangerous! Onita, I think, really needs to be careful because there’s risk there! Very, very ill-advised! To say the least!

Back in the ring, Awesome kicks Shinzaki in the stomach and picks him for an Awesome Bomb to the outside into the pile of brawlers and WING security! It’s down to Hayabusa and Awesome with the title above them!

Gladiator goes for another Awesome Bomb on Hayabusa that gets reversed into a hurricanrana into the barbwire board! Hayabusa can see daylight and starts to ascend the ladder! 

Crowd: HAY AH BUSA! HAY AH BUSA!

Kris Kloss: Hayabusa is inches away….and yes, he’s done it! He's done it!!

Hayabusa grabs the title to become the first W*ING USA Grand Champion!!! Streamers fly in as Hayabusa sits atop the ladder with the championship on his shoulder!!

Winner: Hayabusa

The taped events are more match based and less promos/vignettes. I am trying not to blitz too much through the action and at least capture the essence of what occurred. I've had severe writer's block for years and this project has helped me use my imagination. If you've liked what you read so far, you will get a kick out of what I have planned for the future of W*ING USA. 

It's crazy that as I was writing for Funk in my fantasy show that he passed away the morning I posted it.

Glad you picked up on this, Meltzer being a fish out of water is a running joke throughout the shows. On the next W*ING TV, Meltzer will be hosting a bikini contest, and you can imagine that's not exactly his element. It's all a rib by Onita, but Meltzer also provides "insider" knowledge that I want to convey on the program.

Then you have Vic Venom aka Vince Russo joining commentary soon and it's about to get a lot more uncomfortable for Uncle Dave!

Kris Kloss: The wait is over! Welcome to W*ING TV, Episode 2! I am your lead announcer, Kris Kloss, and with me tonight is the esteemed Dave Meltzer!

Dave Meltzer: Thank you again, Kris, um…very wild show at ‘96 Tears, Onita certainly has the industry talking. Things really got out of control.

Kris Kloss: It was an unforgettable night and a tour de force performance by the new W*ING USA Grand Champion Hayabusa! Dave, I’ve just received word that we’re going to footage from earlier today featuring Jeff Hardy and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express arriving at the W*ING WAREHOUSE!

We cut to a Cadillac pulling up to the venue with Jeff Hardy, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson in denim jackets getting out. Hardy gets out of the car first and begins unloading their gear while carrying the Rock ‘n’ Roll’s bags.

Ricky Morton: I tell ya, Jeff, you gotta believe in yourself…you have the talent to be a world champion someday. 

Robert Gibson: Just stay off drugs, kid, and you’ll go far…

All of a sudden, a long black stretch limousine pulls up. Mr. Pogo and the Headhunters rush out of the vehicle and start to assault Hardy and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express! Headhunter slams the Cadallac trunk onto a bloody Robert Gibson!

Robert Gibson: Ahhh….ahh…..!!! 

Pogo has a chain wrapped around Morton’s neck! Morton is turning blue! The Headhunters pound on Hardy as he is laid out on the concrete. Victor Quinones finally emerges from the limo.

Victor Quinones (pointing at Morton): Hold him down! Finish him off!!

The Headhunters hold Morton down on the concrete as Pogo gets into the Cadillac and puts the keys into the ignition. Pogo is going to run over Morton’s head!

Ricky Morton: Nooooo!!!……

Finally, new head of W*ING security John Zandig shows up with backup! Tarzan Goto, Matsunaga and others swarm the heels as they rush back and speed away in the black limousine!

Kris Kloss: Absolutely heinous actions by Quinones and his crew! Pogo was going to kill Morton! You have to question whether or not the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will make it to WarGames after that beating!

Dave Meltzer: I mean, that was incredibly violent stuff…W*ING USA is really pushing the envelope. Onita is gonna have a hard time getting sponsors, stuff like that, if he can’t tone it down…

Onita looks directly into the camera with Goto and Kimona behind him.

Meltzer (sighs): Oh god, y’know, I was hoping Onita wasn’t going to mention this…

Onita: Akira Maeda!! Meltzer tells me that you’ve been sticking your nose in W*ING USA’s affairs…

Meltzer: Please leave me out of this….

Onita: Maeda, buddy, how about you stay in your lane, ok?...You leave the pro wrestling to me! I’ll leave the grapplefuck to you!!

Meltzer (sighs again): …good grief…

Onita (confused): Meltzer also tells me…there’s some hillbilly promotion coming back…called Smoky Mountain? 

Crowd: BOOOOOO!!!!!

Onita: Look man, I don’t know what you rednecks are smoking on that mountain but this is Hollywood…we are W*ING USA!…we are taking over the industry!!!

Onita: We got that cleared up?…Tonight, lemme tell you our main event…A wild card Trios tournament match to enter as the fourth team in WarGames at Bloodstar for the Trios Championship!! It will be New Jack! (crowd pops) Mikey Whipwreck and Balls Mahoney! (crowd pops) Get the chance to face Pogo and the Headhunters for revenge in WarGames!...They will face off with Gladiator Mike Awesome!! (crowd pops) and the debuting team of The Terminators, Crash and Bash!!

Onita: Hey!..Welcome champ!…(puts arm around Hayabusa)...you finally did it, huh? You finally won the big one?

Hayabusa totally no sells Onita and stares straight ahead.

Onita: So tell us, Hayabusa!...How does it feel, huh?...Tell the people!

Hayabusa says nothing while glaring into Onita’s eyes.

Hayabusa: ....

Onita (agitated): You see, Hayabusa, this is the problem with you, huh?...The problem with your generation! You don’t talk, ok?...I got bills to pay, you understand? Tickets to sell! These people want to hear you!!

Hayabusa scans the crowd as they react to Onita’s remarks.

Crowd: Haya! Busa! *Clap, Clap, Clap!*

Onita: I will say, champ…they don’t seem to care, huh? That title looks good on you, do you mind if I try it on?

Hayabusa stares at Onita and reluctantly removes the title from his waist and hands it over to Onita.

Onita (smiling): Wow!!…I think this might look even better on me!! What do you think, Hayabusa? 

Onita walks around the ring with the W*ING USA Grand Championship on his shoulder!

Crowd: Oh! Nee! Tah! Oh! Nee! Tah!

Onita hands the title back to Hayabusa.

Onita: Since Hayabusa…you want to be the silent champion…I need to bring in some box office as your challenger at Bloodstar…somebody that American fans are very familiar with…

Crowd: Moolah! Moolah! Moolah!

The Fabulous Moolah walks down to the ring with the LIWA Championship title on her shoulder.

Meltzer: That is the Las Vegas International Women’s Association Championship…Moolah, actually, believe it or not, is still active at 73 years old.

Onita (smiles): Fabulous Moolah…this isn’t the best timing, we’re in the middle of something here… 

Onita hands Moolah a microphone as she enters the ring.

Moolah: Mr. Onita, I am the Fabulous Moolah…I don’t make appointments, honey! I’ve been watching your show, Mr. Onita, and I think I have something to offer you. I have seen you have the best women’s wrestling in the entire world…I have a prospect, Mr. Onita, the likes of which the wrestling world has never seen before…trust me, Mr. Onita, Vince and Eric are drooling over her…

Onita: Ok, make it quick, Moolah…who is she? What do you want?

Moolah: I will reveal her at Bloodstar…but on one condition, Mr. Onita.

Onita: What? Hurry!

Moolah: I want to team with Megumi Kudo and Alundra Blayze and test myself against Quinones’ ladies! Aja Kong! Shark Tsuchiya! And Combat Toyoda!

Onita (smoking): Sure, sure…fine!…at Bloodstar, it will be a trios match and we will see your new discovery!!

As the eventful segment wrapped up, Hayabusa extended his hand to Bam Bam Bigelow in a show of sportsmanship. Bigelow refused to shake hands and walked out of the ring. 

Kris Kloss: Folks, we’re going to take a brief pause and we’ll be back with our first match of the night. Dr. Wagner Jr. will be facing a mystery opponent in the 1st round of the W*ING USA Turbo Violence Championship tournament!

Kris Kloss: Ladies and gentleman, we’re back with a video sent in by The Sandman who is in recovery after being brutally attacked at ‘96 Tears by Mr. Pogo!

The Sandman is sitting on a couch with gauze and sunglasses over his eyes.  Beulah McGillicutty is sitting next to Sandman while rubbing his shoulder.

Sandman: Pogo…(puffs cigarette)....you don’t think I can see better in the dark!! You think I haven’t been blinded before!! I’m gonna keep this short…The pussy ass doctors will not clear me by Bloodstar…I got my boys a shot at the WarGames…so then at the next taped event, Zero Fear, I want you, Pogo…not in a match…but a street fight…and not only a street fight…but a SKID ROW STREET FIGHT DEATHMATCH! ME AND YOU, POGO! On the streets of Los Angeles, no sanctions!! Homicide enters through the curtain wearing bandanas across his face and head. 

Meltzer: That is Homicide from Jersey All Pro Wrestling. Very, very hardcore guy…but he’s got some lucha offense as well. Homicide is not a stranger to barbed wire either.

The bell rings and the match begins. Homicide starts punching Wagner and tosses him into the corner. Wagner spins Homicide around and delivers forearms to Homicide in the corner! Homicide rakes the eyes under Wagner’s mask and gets issued a warning by referee Steve Corino. 

Kris Kloss: Disqualifications and count outs are enforced under Turbo Violence rules!

During the match, the camera pans into the Raven’s Nest seated in the front row. Raven, Vampiro, Virus and Luna Vachon are together looking miserable.

Kris Kloss: It appears our cameras have picked up that Raven is front row at W*ING USA! With Vampiro? Luna Vachon!? This has the makings of a new Flock in W*ING USA!

Meltzer: We’ve certainly had um, a major, major influx of former ECW talent coming into W*ING USA.

The match continues inside the ring as Wagner hits a snap suplex on Homicide and controls the match. Homicide is shot into the ropes and takes a big back body drop! Wagner goes for an O’Connor roll and gets two! Homicide reaches into his boot and pulls out an ice pick! Corino immediately attempts to grab the pick away from Homicide! Homicide shoves Corino! As Corino turns to retrieve the ice pick in the ring, Homicide hits a low blow on Wagner! Homicide nails the Cop Killa (Vertebreaker) on Wagner! 1…2…3! Homicide advances!

Winner: Homicide

Kris Kloss: Homicide is moving on to face the Great Sasuke in the 2nd round of the Turbo Violence tournament!

After the match, Homicide hits referee Corino with a Cop Killa! Corino is not moving!

Meltzer: Totally uncalled for, Kris, y’know, really ridiculous by Homicide. Poor Corino isn’t moving at all.

Kris Kloss: Homicide is an outlaw who will do anything to win! We’re gonna get some help for Corino out here. The Great Sasuke has a fight on his hands in round two! On a lighter note, after we take a break, we’re going to be right back with W*ING USA’s first ever bikini contest to crown Miss. W*ING USA!!

Meltzer: (sighs)

Kris Kloss: Folks, we’re back at it and Dave Meltlzer is already in the ring with Kimona Wanalana for our first bikini contest!

Inside the ring are eight sexy women of all races in large W*ING USA t-shirts on and high heels. Meltzer is holding cue cards and the crowd is ready for eye candy!

Kimona: Hey guuuyys!! Are you ready to crown our first Miss. W*ING USA!?!? (crowd pops).

Meltzer: Um, alright…By the way, you know, this isn’t really my thing, this was Onita’s idea…But uh, first up we’ve got Veronica…Let’s see, um…She’s from San Diego and it says here she has modeled for Hustler magazine.

Warrant is blaring through the loudspeaker as Veronica takes off the shirt and reveals a bright pink thong!

Kimona: Whoooo! Yeah! Come on, guys! Work it, girl!

Veronica twirls around as Meltzer announces the next contestant.

Meltzer: Alright guys, so…

*All of a sudden*

Aja Kong, Shark Tsuchya, and Combat Toyoda rush into the ring! The bikini girls all attempt to flee the ring and chaos breaks out! Aja grabs Veronica and throws her down onto the canvas! W*ING security immediately tries to reestablish order! "Cherry Pie" continues to play! Meltzer and Kimona hurry out of the ring! As the fighting continues, one of the bikini girls emerges from the pile with a bloody nose and one of her breasts exposed!

Kris Kloss: Yikes! I don’t know if that gets past the censors! This show is Rated R! Hopefully they signed a waiver! Kong, Shark and Combat are butchering these women! This is like a horror scene from JAWS!!

Megumi Kudo, Alundra Blayze, and Moolah head to the ring and begin to brawl with Kong, Shark and Combat! Moolah bashes Aja Kong over the head with her purse and Aja Kong collapses to the canvas! Moolah opens the purse up and a huge BRICK falls out of it!!!

Crowd: Moolah!! Moolah!! Moolah!!

Kong is bleeding as she exits the ring with Shark and Combat. Victor Quinones is waiting for them at the top of the entrance. 

Kris Kloss: We need to get everybody calmed down here! We’re gonna go to footage with Cobra, “Real Nature Boy” Buddy Landel and “Double” CW Anderson and their attempt to confront their “former boss” Eric Bischoff at Universal Studios!

Next we are shown Cobra, Buddy Landel and CW Anderson standing in front of the entrance at Universal Studios Hollywood. All three are dressed in full ring gear like they are ready for a match at the theme park.

Cobra: If you guys hadn’t been eliminated in the battle royal we wouldn’t be here right now! YEOOOWW!!!

Buddy: You’re the one that was thrown out in thirty seconds! WHOOOOO!!!!

Cobra, Landel and Anderson approach the ticket booth where a young female employee is seated behind glass.

Buddy Landel: Sweetheart, we’re here to see Bischoff!!

Female Employee: Bischoff? Sir, I don’t know who you are referring to…This is a ticket window to purchase entry into Universal Studios.

Cobra: Exactly! Universal Studios where WCW tapes Saturday Night!

Female Employee (confused): Sir, I really think you might be at the wrong location.

Landel: Baby, we’re about to go to Space Mountain! How about you let us see your supervisor Eric Bischoff?

Female Employee (agitated): That’s Disney World! And I don't have a manager by that name!

Just then Landel notices a heavyset man wearing a WCW shirt behind them in line. Landel steps out of line and accosts the tourist.

Landel: Hey Fatso! WCW?! Where the hell is Bischoff?!

Tourist: Hey Buddy, I’m just a fan…I don’t know where Bischoff is…They tape the show in Orlando, Florida…There’s two Universal Studios…

Cobra: What?! Are you kidding? How the hell can we afford to get out there?! YEEEOOWW!!!!

Landel: ORLANDO FLORIDA?!

Landel aggressively removes the tourist’s sneaker and tosses it into the parking lot, almost hitting a family in line!!

Landel: QUIT JERKING US AROUND, JACK! YOU’RE LOOKING AT THE BRAINS! (Points at Cobra vacantly grinning) AND THE NUCLEUS! (Points at Anderson holding up three fingers the entire time)

Tourist: Have you been drinking, Buddy? Can somebody call security please?!

Security is alerted and Cobra and his companions get questioned.

Security: Can any of you provide ID?

Anderson holds up three fingers.

Security: I said, do you have any identification?

Anderson: You’re looking at it! These fingers are the symbol of excellence in professional wrestling! 

Security: We’re asking the three of you to leave the premises, you’re banned from the park.

Cobra: Technically, we’re a trio!

Cobra, Landel, and Anderson walk away.

Cobra: Dammit!…let’s go talk to Onita and see if we can get our jobs back! YEOOOWWW!!!

*Cuts back to Kloss and Meltzer*

Kloss (laughs): Well that was something else, wasn’t it, Dave?

Meltzer (shaking his head): Um, unbelievable…really crazy stuff. 

Kloss: Are they coming back to the W*ING Warehouse? Will they ever give up?

Meltzer: They seem totally delusional, possibly mentally ill, I’m not sure what is going on.

Kloss: That brings us to our main event of the evening. An opportunity is at stake for a fourth team to enter WarGames and become the first W*ING USA Trios Champions. This match will feature the team of New Jack, Balls Mahoney, and Mikey Whipwreck versus Gladiator Mike Awesome, Crash the Terminator, and Bash the Terminator!

New Jack: So I guess it’s finally time for this *bleep* New Jack to talk!….It’s been a hot minute since ECW died…Of course it did without me and these bastards behind me!...Paul E., you wanna blame New Jack for your loss? Eat shit, Paul, you’ve been reduced to Pillman’s fuckin’ manager! How’s Dusty’s muffler taste, Paul?

Crowd: DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING! DIE FOR WING!

New Jack: And you got the audacity to call yourself the NWA?! NWA?! Paul E. you restarted the NWA but you forgot this *bleep* with attitude!!!

Crowd: New Jack! New Jack! New Jack!

New Jack: As far as Fat Ass Transit goes, Eric Gulash, Kulash, or whatever the fuck that fat white boy name was!…You’re lucky you’re still breathing, kid! All I do is carve up motherfuckers for a living! Now bring out Awesome and the Terminators, let’s fucking go!

Kris Kloss: It sounds like Gladiator has a new theme song!

Awesome and the Terminators run out to the ring and the match immediately begins. Crash and Bash both have Road Warrior styled face paint, along with Gladiator who has black paint around his eyes for the match. New Jack bashes Awesome with the guitar right off the bell! 

A lot of brawling as they pair off. Crash and Bash take turns powerbombing Whipwreck. New Jack and Balls Mahoney go to work on Awesome. New Jack picks up a monitor and hits Awesome!! Crash decks Balls with clothesline from behind. Things go back and forth throughout. The Terminators hit back to back moonsaults on Mahoney inside the ring. Awesome attempts a massive frog splash onto a table but New Jack moves out of the way! 

Balls grabs a chair and full force drives it into Bash’s skull. Bash totally no sells it! Balls throws an even harder shot and Bash goes down!!

In the closing moments, Luna Vachon jumps the guard rail from the Raven’s Nest! Luna leaps onto Crash’s back trying to choke him out!!

Kris Kloss: It didn’t take long for Luna to cross the line!

As Crash struggles to get Luna off, New Jack grabs Crash’s head and shoots it with a staple gun! Balls follows it up with a *MASSIVE* chair shot to Crash! Whipwreck hits the Whippersnapper on Crash!! New Jack pins Crash the Terminator to secure the fourth spot in WarGames at Bloodstar!

Winner: New Jack/Balls Mahoney/Mikey Whipwreck

Kris Kloss: Folks, what just happened there? Is the Flock aligned with ECW? Why did Luna get involved on their behalf?! Hopefully we will have answers for you later this month at Bloodstar! Good night!

Another really entertaining show to read. You capture the essence of an outlaw promotion run by Onita perfectly. It's even crazier than reading about ECW in the 1990s. The Meltzer segment in the Bikini contest gave me a laugh. I imagine the event would be quite chaotic, but super fun to watch. Keep it coming!

Thanks for the comments. The 90s were a lot more wild and the show aims to relive the outlaw spirit of that time. After the 90s, to me, is when Harry Potter took over the world for better for worse. I'm also trying to write this for smart fans because you guys know your stuff. 

I'm glad the humor is appreciated, ECW was packed with spoofs. @Control21, nice to hear you get the jokes, I'm definitely playing around with the Onita character. I was watching UFC in 1995, no disrespect to RINGS. From the bWo, to Austin in a Bischoff wig while pounding on his desk like a lunatic, or Foley and "Don't Fire Me, Uncle Eric", Heyman always had that element going on. We still see spoofs effectively used today like Miz dressing up as LA Knight. It's something that seems to always get over. The nWo parodying the Horsemen and DX with the Nation was HUGE. Somebody with average talent like Sandow got very far with it. 

I want to give a very small plug here to XPW because their current shows have been awesome and nobody talks about them. I think they're trying to instigate a war with GCW and they just won't bite on it lol. And I get it, they are true outlaw. Rob Black's a porn guy, they booked Tessa Blanchard (who looked better than ever, a total star) and a lot of people won't support that. Shlak has a very shady past. MAGA Butcher with that gimmick is very provocative, etc. But if people happen to read this thread and enjoy this type of style, XPW is where it's at right now.

Anyway, there's still a lot to come with big debuts (Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Chyna) and some decent swerves coming. I've done a good job building some tension between Onita and Hayabusa, i.e., Old Guard vs. New Guard, Promoter vs. Wrestler.

I definitely read the other shows and if something catches my eye I will work that into my programming.
