We see the blood pouring from Shawn Michaels… then the debut that no one was prepared for… KANE! Kane tombstoned the Undertaker to the depths of HELL and walked out with Paul Bearer. Michaels got the win and Chyna carried him to the back…a bloody mess! The Raw video hits and here we go with Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler, ringside for Monday Night Raw! The crowd is going wild as Vince and Lawler put over Badd Blood… and then talk about how we will hear from Stone Cold Steve Austin… The Rock… and of course (Music hits) SHAWN MICHAELS! HBK comes out to the ring with a huge bandage on his head and Chyna by his side…Rude is also behind them as they get to the ring… HBK cuts a scathing promo putting himself over for single handedly beating the Undertaker last night. He says there is a little less baggage in the ring tonight… he had to trim the fat and this is a revolutionary move named D-Generation X! Michaels is the talent… Chyna is the muscle… and Rude is the insurance policy! They have one thing left to do and that is the lay it all on the line… Shawn Michaels has beat everyone… He has headlined the last two main events… he is the rightful WWF Championship and he’s ready for any and all comers… Then we see Mankind come out to a lil pop from the crowd and he says that he wants to be the next one to challenge Shawn Michaels… HBK, Rude, and Chyna are all laughing up a storm. Ken Shamrock defeated Bob Holly. Jerry Lawler talks with Shamrock outside the ring… says he is starting to finally get some skill in the ring but to be honest… there is a lot left to be desired… Shamrock gets in his face but Lawler backs up and says that he was just kidding Mr. Personality… Shamrock asks him what his problem is… Lawler say it is his lack of humor and wrestling ability… Shamrock says he will show him what it is all about… anytime! Haku & The Barbarian defeated The Godwins via DQ in their return to the WWF. The Faces of Fear with Jimmy Hart are back in the WWF and they prove to be out of control. The Godwins seem to be in a rough spot since losing the tag titles last night. We’re in the back and we see The Rock and he is standing with his New Nation members… Booker T and Stevie Ray. They put over the movement here in the WWF and how things are going to get a lot better for them before too long. Rock says that he had to put Farooq out to pasture… and anyone else in his path will end up the same way… In what can only be described as shocking… Raw returns with Vince giving Lawler the 4th degree but out of nowhere… someone comes up and flips Vince’s headset off. McMahon gets up and turns around and OMG… KEVIN NASH AND SCOTT HALL are here on RAW! Nothing is clear… in is inaudible… but just enough… “Why haven’t you returned our calls Vinnie… huh?” “Figured since you can’t pick up the phone, we’ll come here and see what’s good…” Security is very heavy now and we see them being flanked and pushed back. Hall and Nash just accosted McMahon… we then cut to black… and here comes KANE! Kane walks out with Paul Bearer and Bearer runs down the Undertaker something awful and says we have seen the end of him once and for all! He says that the Undertaker knew about Kane the whole time… and he’s the one responsible for the burns on his body and the mental scars that it caused. Undertaker will feel the fire of Kane before too long… if not here… then they will be on the hunt to find him! Raw is back… McMahon has been replaced by Jim Ross. Autistic Dragon
Michaels may regret not taking Mankind seriously. If anyone in the WWF can shut Lawler's mouth, it's Shamrock. The Faces of Fear make a frightening debut. The Rock and Harlem Heat would've been a great trio to watch. The Outsiders arrive and McMahon is spooked. Kane was my favorite as a kid. Can't quit explain why but he made such an impression on 4 year old me. Ahh, the premier Attitude Era rivalry, Stone Cold vs The Rock. SirEdger
You started things off with a bang with the WWF! The Outsiders picking up where they left off with WCW and I expect that no one is gonna be safe from their chaos!
KingBoggs33
What an awesome first episode of Monday Night Raw. It had everything to expect from WWF in 1997 just chaos and solid storyline developments. I am excited to see where these angles go. The Rock with Harlem Heat is an awesome pairing especially for a newer age version of the Nation. Kane/Taker will be awesome to see what twists that you take that story. The Outsiders showing up is HUGE and going to be awesome to see. Ending with Austin is very smart to do. Then finally HBK/Mankind in 1997 is going to rock as well. WWF firing on all cylinders. LowBlowPodcast
Pictures will come with Free time - which isn't in abundance. October 14 - Raw - Newark RAW VIDEO Raw opens this week with footage of Stone Cold Steve Austin taking it to the Rock last week to end the show and announcing that he is back and ready to step into the ring! We’ll also see the Tag Team Championship on the line when the Headbangers take on the Barbarian and Haku! Plus… the new European Champion was crowned this weekend… he is here… wait just a moment… here comes Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Rick Rude! HBK comes out with his entourage and he is once again as ignorant and arrogant as ever. He starts by talking about how the WWF is rotting away with the useless talent who can’t even lace his boots. He says guys like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin couldn’t last 10-minutes in the ring with him. He says he destroyed the Undertaker and we’ll never see him again. Then he turns his attention to Mankind and says he should do all of Mankind a favor and jump off the Brooklyn Bridge… that brings him out… Mankind comes out and says that he wants to challenge Michaels for the title but HBK say he doesn’t deserve the chance…. He’s beaten him before and he’ll do it again… Mankind says yes… Shawn Michaels has beat Mankind… and he’s beat Dude Love… he goes behind the curtain and comes back out… BUT YOU HAVEN’T BEAT CACTUS JACK! BANG BANG! The crowd goes wild! Michaels is shaking his head no… no… no! Could Michaels be due to face the one and only Cactus Jack!?!? WWF Tag Team Championship The Barbarian and Haku defeated The Headbangers via DQ when the Godwins got involved and it was a 3-way tag team brawl! We get a fun little promo from the New Age Outlaws… they are laughing at the brawl in the ring. Commissioner Slaughter walks up behind them… they continue to giggle… but Sarge then announces that next week… the Outlaws will face the Barbarian and Haku! The Patriot defeated Savio Vega - well - wasn’t much. Don’t know how long the Patriot is going to last. Vince gets serious for a moment and talks about what we saw last week… those men are not associated with the WWF and we apologize for their disturbance! We then cut to a special video of William Regal… he won the vacant European Championship over the weekend at a special WWF joint event in London. Regal won the finals against Fit Finlay. We saw Dave Taylor work with Regal to secure the victory. We’re told that Regal is having trouble getting to the building… but we’ll hopefully see him next week! Ken Shamrock defeated Van Hammer via Ankle Lock submission - Lawler was running him down the entire time. Shamrock walked over to him and Lawler told him to go back to fighting in alleys and bingo halls… Shamrock got closer and Lawler smacked him in the face! Shamrock looked like he was about to snap and went after him before security had to come out. They escorted Shamrock to the back. He was screaming for Lawler! Security is escorting Shamrock to the back… Michael Cole gets him for a moment… Shamrock says he is sick and tired of Jerry Lawlers BS. He wants to challenge him in that ring next week and we’ll see if he has what it takes to back up his mouth! The New Age Outlaws defeated Duke Droese & Steve Blackman - once again… the Outlaws are looking great as a team… Shawn Michaels is in the back with Chyna and Rude… they are arguing with Patterson, Brisco, and Sarge. Michaels is saying that there is no way he will be in the ring with Cactus Jack. He’s a menace… he’s crazy… Sarge says he is making all kinds of matches and perhaps this will be his next one… but he tells Michaels that Cactus can be the number one contender but he will have to pick his opponent next week… if Cactus Jack wins… then he gets the title shot… Farooq vs Bradshaw went to a double count out - both men beat the living shit out of one another in the ring but then the match went outside the ring and the referee called for the 10-count as both men refused to re-enter the ring. Amidst the chaos… Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are interrupted but this time… it is Sean Waltman and Scott Hall! They are messing with JR and wearing his cowboy hat. JR is asking them what they want…. What is it…. Hall says he wants to see Razor Ramon…. Diesel… 123 Kid… he wants Vince McMahon! Security escorts them away from the camera… Ross and Lawler try to compose themselves. Buff Bagwell makes his debut with a nice win over Al Snow - Buff works the crowd with his muscles and looks they don’t seem to care too much. The Rock and Harlem Heat - the New Nation are in the back with Michael Cole. They put over the issue with Steve Austin and the Rock says that Austin is climbing up a mountain he just can’t reach. The Intercontinental Championship is out of his grasp and will always be as long as the Rock has it! Rock says Austin is all about himself but the Nation is a unit… together we stand and we will never fall! Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Stevie Ray in a lopsided match but the crowd was white hot. We see the Rock and Booker T come out. Austin gets the Stunner victory before the Rock and Booker pounce but Austin is able to hold them off for a moment until Farooq runs back down and helps clean house. The New Nation is backing up but they have got smiles on their faces…more next week!
Autistic Dragon
The Faces of Fear are gonna be awful pissed their title match was interrupted. I wouldn't want to be the Outlaws next week. Regal is a perfect fit for the European title. HBK done stepped in it now. Cactus Jack is back! The Clique continues to cause trouble. Farooq is still ready to take the fight to the Nation. Though he might want to keep an eye on Bradshaw.
LowBlowPodcast
October 21 - Raw Raw opens up this week with Vince and Lawler putting over a huge night of action… tonight we’ll see the showdown between Jerry Lawler and Ken Shamrock… plus the New Age Outlaws take on the Barbarian and Haku… plus who will Shawn Michaels choose to take on Cactus Jack?!? Wait just a moment… here comes STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN! Austin comes out and he cuts a promo on the Rock and the New Nation. He tells them that they are nothing but trash and he’s going to take them out one at a time! He says he has his eyes on the Intercontinental Championship and that means the Rock is in his sights and he’s closing in! This brings out the Rock and Harlem Heat… Rock says that contrary to popular belief… it isn’t Rock season but Steve Austin season and they’ve got hunting passes and they are ready to make Snakeskin boots out of his rattlesnake ass! Austin tells them that he doesn’t mind the odds and if the Rock is feeling frisky… he should bring his ass down to the ring and see what happens! European Champion, William Regal defeated Duke Droese… Fit Finlay showed up out of nowhere to attack him. Fit looks pissed about something… Regal escapes with his title in hand. The Rock & the new Nation cut a promo on Steve Austin along with Farooq. They put over how the New Nation is a stronger nation that Farooq could have ever put together and he’s going to feel the ramification of that when they get their hands on him. Bradshaw vs Farooq - Round II - went to a double DQ outside the ring. These guys beat the living shit out of one another and man did they lay into each other. Officials try to break this up but Farooq and Bradshaw end up beating the hell out of them instead. Savio Vega is shown and he’s got some buddies behind him… Castillo, Perez, & Estrada he let’s everyone know that he’s got the backup now and he’s going to show the world why Puerto Rico creates the best and toughest wrestlers in the world. The WWF is about to find that out the hard way! Ken Shamrock vs Jerry Lawler ended up being a no-contest due to Shamrock going absolutely Ape-Shit. He beat the hell out of Lawler in the corner and then we locked him up in the ankle lock and he will not let go! We even go to a commercial break and come back with Shamrock being dragged off of Lawler. Lawler is writhing in pain as Vince puts it over in a big way. So now things pick up a little bit… once again… the security is pulling Shamrock to the back… from behind Vince… Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman show up and this time Kevin Nash pulls on Vince to get his attention and Vince stands up with a look in his eyes. Kevin is heard saying “Give me a live Mic and let’s get this figured out!” Waltman “Come on Boss Man… write us a check like the old days!” Nash “Come on Mr. McMahon… you sent Bret away… see if you can send us away!” We then see officials come down and back them off… Nash yells “see us next week in the ring!” The New Age Outlaws vs The Barbarian and Haku ended up being quite the shit show with the Outlaws doing everything they could to get away from Barb and Haku. Barb and Haku finally get a hold of them and the Outlaws have got to prove themselves quickly. This one ends up in a count out victory when the Outlaws run into the crowd. Sgt. Slaughter comes out and then he makes an announcement… next week… on Raw… a 4 corners tag team match for the WWF tag team titles… the Headbangers… the Godwins… Haku and Barbarian… and the New Age Outlaws! Cactus Jack makes his way down to the ring and he looks ready for a fight… whomever Michaels picks… if Jack wins… he gets the one on one match for the title! Michaels then pops out and he looks irate. He whispers something to Rude and then to Chyna. Michaels says he wanted to send Rude but he didn’t want to get his hands dirty… he wanted to send Chyna but the WWF wouldn’t sign off… so instead… he found someone… 600 pounds… 6’8”.... A former King of the Ring… MABLE! Cactus Jack vs Mable ended up being somewhat entertaining for what its worth. Jack took some serious blows and even a ring step spot where Mable fell backwards with Jack on his back onto the steps. The finish saw Jack go up top and Mable catches him… Jack somehow breaks his grip… Mable runs for a splash in the corner but Jack moves… Jack then rears back and cracks Mable’s head on the ringpost and he comes tumbling down and then we get the 3-count! Jack has won it and he has his shot against HBK… when will he cash it in? Tune in next week to find out!
LowBlowPodcast
October 28 - Raw The New Age Outlaws defeat Too Cool but then have to run for the hills when the Barbarian and Haku show up. As they head up the aisle - here come the Godwins! We’ve got a nice brawl as officials come out. The Outlaws have to try and get free but this one is far from over. The Rock w/ The Harlem Heat defeated Duke Droese. The Rock cuts a nice promo on Steve Austin - he let’s him know that the New Nation has their eyes on him and they will soon come to make some snake skin boots and a new briefcase for the Rock’s Intercontinental Championship. Savio Vega w/ Boricuas defeated Tatanka - Just as the Boricuas start to celebrate - the lights go out and a loud bang is heard… here comes KANE! Bearer leads him down to the ring… Savio sends his troops out… Kane with a huge boot to Castillo! Kane throws Perez into the ringsteps! Kane then throws Estrada over the guardrail! Savio comes to throw hands but Kane with a huge CHOKESLAM! Bearer looks to the camera… and says this is the beginning and the Undertaker is the one who needs to answer for Kane! The moment we’ve all been waiting for… here comes Vince McMahon and he wants to bring out Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman… they come through the crowd and have an aura on them right now. There are no smiles… no special signs… they just get in the ring and they’re face to face with Vince McMahon now… The promo does the best it can to shoot from the hip while keep the show moving. The crux of the discussion is that Hall and Nash call out Vince for being the boss and how he is the one who sent them packing when they started to become real stars. They talk about how he favored Shawn and did everything he could to build Shawn up while bringing Hall and Nash and Waltman down. They talk about how their contracts weren’t worth renewing but Bret Hart’s was… so much so that they were sent packing and he was given a huge deal… only to be screwed out of it a year later. They put over how Hunter is the one who fell on the sword and someday… somehow… Vince is going to have to answer for that crime. He is going to have to answer for what he did to Hunter… but they don’t care about Bret. They don’t care about Hogan. They don’t care about Bichoff. They are here to do one thing and that is reclaim their spot at the top of the WWF! They say that they aren’t the NWO… they aren’t WCW… they don’t even consider themself the WWF… their the Wolfpac and their here to cause mass destruction because they are the bad boys of wrestling! They drop the mics and push Vince out of the way and he gets right up there… Hall tuns back around and Vince looks like he might get frisky… Patterson and Brisco are down here… they are with officials…. The Wolfpac backs off…. They exit through the fans… Rikishi defeated Bob Holly - Nothing offensive, just cooling the crowd off. William Regal defends the European Championship against Bart Gunn - Fit Finlay then comes back out and he tries to get his hands on Regal who escapes by the skin of his teeth! HBK cuts a promo on Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love… he doesn’t even know. He does let the Wolfpack know that times have changed but they’ve also stayed the same. HBK is on top and everyone is looking up to him… if they think they’ve got what it takes step in the ring! Ken Shamrock defeated Steve Blackman… Lawler comes out and chastises Shamrock who says he still couldn’t pin him 1…2…3! Shamrock asks him to come out next week and see what happens… Lawler says he’ll be here! The Main Event for Raw tonight is a falls count anywhere match between Farooq and Bradshaw. They take the fight all over the ringside area and then back into the locker room. We see officials getting involved to keep things safe but Farooq and Bradshaw once again beat the hell out of them! We then see the two of them come crashing through a door… but it is the door of the Nation… Bradshaw gets up…. He backs off and now the Harlem Heat are stomping away at Farooq… Bradshaw then turns back around and goes in there to pull them off of him! Farooq and Bradshaw are now teaming up against the Harlem Heat and here comes the Rock! The Rock comes in and he leads the way as the New Nation take Farooq and Bradshaw out into the parking lot! Bradshaw with a clothesline from hell on Stevie Ray out of nowhere and then Farooq with a huge shoulder block sending Booker flying… wait a second… the Rock turns around…. STONE COLD! STONE COLD! Steve Austin with a couple of piston like right hands and then he slams the Rock’s head on the trunk of his car…the keys fall down… Austin tosses the Rock in the trunk and then closes it! You hear Austin lock the door and then he puts the keys in his pocket and jumps in his truck and speeds off as Raw fades to black!
LowBlowPodcast
On 10/28/2024 at 10:33 PM, Autistic Dragon said: 21st. Austin ain't backing down from the Nation. Finlay once again debuts by randomly jumping Regal. Bradshaw & Farooq is heating up. Vego has brought some friends. Nash & co continue to disrupt the show. The Outlaws might think twice about running away when the titles are on the line. Jack slays the giant to claim his title shot. 28th. I don't blame the Outlaws for not wanting to get close to the FoF than they have too. The Rock is looking like the man right now. Well the Boricuas didn't last long. The Wolfpac declare their through with everybody! Regal is quite the fishing champion....until Finlay shows up. What an ending! Bradshaw goes from trying to beat Farooq's ass to saving it and Austin driving off with the Rock would've had everyone talking.
LowBlowPodcast
November 4 - Raw Quick hits for Raw tonight… The New Age Outlaws defeated The Headbangers to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship! After the match, we saw the Barbarian and Haku along with the Godwins come out to chase off the new champions. Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, and Chyna work the crowd and put over their issue with Mankind and how he is going to shut that “freak” up for good! We get a fun match with William Regal defending the European Championship against a masked man who unmasks himself to be Fit Finlay! Finlay busts up Regal pretty well but Wlliam gets out of the match with a DQ victory. Val Venis makes his in ring debutish with a nice win - he is a fan favorite with the ladies. Savio Vega with the Boricuas gets a victory but then has the gall to call out Kane and says he wants to face him next week! Wolfpac is back in the ring - this time McMahon has the Bossman with him. McMahon says that he doesn’t have time for these shenanigans and he is a man of the people. If the people want the Wolfpac back in the WWF… then he’ll do it… his way… he says that at Survivor Series, the top 3 wrestlers in the WWF will face the Wolfpac in a six-man tag team match. McMahon says next week we’ll see three matches with our singles champions against three challengers who are all eager to win the gold but also step up against these three. Nash, Hall, and Waltman work the crowd and ask just who is going to be the challengers? Vince announces that we’ll see… William Regal the European Champion against Stone Cold Steve Austin! Intercontinental Champion, the Rock will take on Ken Shamrock! The WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels will take on Cactus Jack! The Wolfpac no sells it… but you can tell they are sharing some ideas… who makes it out of those 6? Rikishi wins a nice singles match and he continues to get some love from the fans. Ken Shamrock is out once again to tell Lawler that he’s sick and tired of his crap and he wants him in the ring… LAwler says he was advised not to take action tonight but he’s going to cash in on an insurance policy and needless to say, Shamrock is going to be in for a huge surprise next week! SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH The New Nation vs Steve Austin, Bradshaw, & Farooq ended up being a no contest but a brawl. These six-men gave it everything they had but the finishing moments saw Kama return out of the crowd and destroy a chair over Farooq’s head! It was 4 on 3 until Stone Cold fought his way back and delivered some stunners to end the night! Next week - 3 big matches - who goes on to take on the Wolfpac? Autistic Dragon
The Outlaws win the gold but the Faces of Fear ruin the celebration. Pretty good trick by Finlay. The towel man cometh! Vega proves to have more guys than brains. Vince decides to let the Wolfpac earn their spots. Like the idea of qualifier matches determining the opponents. Rikishi gets some shine. The New Nation adds some muscle in the form of the Ultimate Fighting Machine.
