Bob Caudle & Jim Cornette are standing in front of a SMW banner. Caudle welcomes the fans to another exciting episode of Smoky Mountain Wrestling "professional wrestling the way it used to be and the way you like it". He asks what Cornette is doing out here and Cornette has seen how Caudle has been struggling hosting the show alone week after week so he's decided to join Caudle on commentary going forward! Isn't that great? Caudle says he's sure to be an experience. Cornette asks what's that supposed to mean but Caudle says it's time for the opening match so let's head to the ring.

Match #1

Silver Wings defeats "Tough" Tony Falk with the "Silver Lining" (Frog-Splash)

*We see footage from a recent event in Chattanooga TN where Earthquake was defending the Smoky Mountain Wrestling Heavyweight Championship against the Big Bossman. Things break down as Earthquake's manager Woman calls down her other client Danny Doring. A 2 on 1 beat down ensues culminating in Doring placing a steel chair on Bossman's chest and Earthquake delivers the "Aftershock". Bossman is coughing up blood as he's carried out on a stretcher.*

We're back live and the whole trio is with Caudle. He says Bossman was rushed to a local hospital for heavily damaged ribs and there's no word on when or ever if he'll step foot in a SMW ring again. Woman says let that be a message to anyone who even thinks they can take the Heavyweight Title from her monster. Says Earthquake is the most dominant champion in wrestling today and he'll hold that title for as long as she wants him too. She then brings up the tournament that was announced on last week's episode that starts tonight and says she'll have a team here next week to make sure she gets all the gold!

Match #2

"Devious" Danny Doring w/Woman defeats Shark Boy with the "Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am" (double underhook DDT)

*VTR- we see a highlight package of Terry Gordy that shows off his power and ends with the words "coming soon"*

Match #3

Steve "Mongo" McMichael defeats The Terrorist (Doug Gilbert in a mask) with the "Mongo Spike" (Tombstone Piledriver)

Mongo joins Caudle for a promo that mainly shows to show off his personality. His past in the hyped and he says he's gonna run through all the competition in Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

Before the main event Caudle goes into detail on the tag title tournament. The opening round will take place in the coming weeks of SMW TV while the semifinals and finals will be held at Halloween Scream on Halloween night at the Cookeville Community Center in Cookeville Tennessee.

Main event. Smoky Mountain tag title tournament.

The Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeats The Night Terrors w/Father James Mitchell with the double dropkick. Mitchell is infuriated and walks off without the Terrors.

Caudle & Cornette are at the booth and Caudle welcomes the fans to another exciting week of Smoky Mountain Wrestling. He runs down the card for the today, Tito Santana & Marty Jannety will both be in action... we'll hear from Father James Mitchell...plus in the main event the tag title tournament continues as the Bad Street Boys (Christian York & Joey Matthews) will take on Woman's mystery tag team. Cornette cuts in and says of course it's a mystery to Caudle because Woman wouldn't talk to him if he was sweating champagne. He on the other hand, gets along famously with her and not only does he know who her team are, he'll go on record here and now and declare them the favorites to win the whole tournament. Caudle asks him to share who her team are if he knows but Cornette says he's sworn to secrecy and he's shocked and appalled Caudle would ask to betray the trust of a lady. An exasperated Caudle says it's time for our first match starring a promising young man who's been making waves in the North East territory, "Dangerous" Devon Storm.

Match #1

"Dangerous" Devon Storm defeats The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert in a mask) with the "Thunderclap" (brainbuster)

We see footage from a recent SMW event in Hazard Kentucky where a battle royal was held with the winner challenging Earthquake for the Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Title at Halloween Scream. It's come down to Jim Duggan and Kendall Windham and the two are pounding away at each other before Duggan sends the tall Texan over the top with a mighty clothesline. We cut to Duggan joining Caudle at the booth. He says Earthquake is a big, bad man no doubt but his all American muscle is gonna send him packing back to Canada and make Duggan a two time Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Champion. He tells Earthquake if he's got a problem with that then step up and prove him wrong TOUGH GUY!

Match #2

Tito Santana defeats "Bad Dude" Brian Austin with a Figure Four.

James Mitchell joins Caudle at the booth. He says last week the Night Terrors failed him for the last time and he cast them back to the darkness they came from. Says the search has begun for his new "harbingers of chaos" who will join him in burning Smoky Mountain Wrestling to the ground.

Match #3

"Rockstar" Marty Jannety defeats "Lethal" Larry Santo with the "Rocker Dropper".

VTR- we see another highlight of Terry Gordy which makes him look like a beast and announces that he arrives at Halloween Scream!

*Commentary point out that due to next week being the final episode of SMW TV before Halloween Scream, next week's episode will have two tag title tournament matches*

The Bad Street Boys are working the crowd when Woman walks through the curtain alone. She takes the house mic and says she wants to publicly thank her dear friend Jim Cornette for trusting her to manage the new and improved Heavenly Bodies! She tells the audience to stand up and show some respect to their next Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Champions "Gigelo" Jimmy Del Rey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton!

Main event. Tag title tournament match.

The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Rey & Bobby Eaton) w/Woman defeat The Bad Street Boys (Christian York & Joey Matthews) when Eaton pinned York with the "Alabama Jam".

Glad I was able to get Smokey Mountain on my Satellite dish... Even at this point ... in 1997... I could see this being a big deal for the territory. This is a solid mix of old school talent and some young fresh faces... with Cornette at the helm there's a lot of the horizon for these guys. My money is on Terry Gordy coming in and being a huge deal from the get go!

Caudle & Cornette welcome fans to another exciting episode of SMW action. We've got the final two first round matches in the tournament to crown new Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Champions as well as a face to face meeting between Smoky Mountain Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Earthquake and the man who will challenge him for that title at Halloween Scream, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. We'll also hear from Terry Gordy ahead of his SMW return. All that and more on today's episode now let's head to the ring!

Match #1. Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Title Tournament.

The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs) defeat Wildside (Chris Champion & Mark Starr) after taking Starr on a "Trip to Nastyville" (Knobbs powerslam followed by a diving elbow by Saggs.)

Cornette is at the booth speaking as the owner of SMW. He says he's been hard at work to take SMW to the next level and that work has paid off, next week he'll have an announcement that is not only without precedent in the history of Smoky Mountain Wrestling but will change the landscape of professional wrestling as it is today.

Match #2

Ice Train defeats The Terrorist with the "Train Wreck" (running splash).

VTR- Terry Gordy is standing in front of a SMW banner. He says he's coming back to SMW because it's the last bastion of real professional wrestling. Says he doesn't have to deal with everyone showing their ass in Stanford or the non-stop politicking in Atlanta and he doesn't even know what the hell's going on in Philadelphia. Says whoever walks out of Halloween Scream with the Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Title had best get ready cause he's coming for it and ain't nothing stopping him.

Match #3

"The Outlaw" Kendall Windham defeats George South with the "Powerbomb O' Doom" (slingshot Powerbomb). He continues to beat on South after the bell until Steve McMichael runs down and we get a tense staredown that security prevents from escalating.

Champion and challenger square off at the podium. Woman speaks for her client and says Duggan is just a over hyped goof who owes his entire career to his "good buddy Terry who let him ride his coattails in two different companies." Says there's nobody to save Duggan now and he'll meet the fate of everyone who tries to take the Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Title off her monster, he'll get crushed! Duggan isn't intimated and says he knows firsthand how powerful the Earthquake is but he also knows the "big lug" doesn't have the brains to make it on his own which is why he needs someone else to do his thinking for him whether it's that "motormouth from the south, that wack job who thinks he's Satan and now this bimbo who can't come up for a better name for herself than Woman." Things are getting tense but security keeps everyone apart to preserve the big show's main event.

Main Event. Smoky Mountain Tag Team Title Tournament.

The Tennessee Volunteers (Reno Riggins & Steve Dunn) defeat The Public Enemy (Rocco Roc & Johnny Grunge) when Riggins got the knees up to block a Roc moonsault and rolled him over for the surprise pin! The Volz celebrate with the crowd while Public Enemy are seething in the ring.

As the show ends we get the full card for Halloween Scream.

This weeks episode was mainly covering the fallout from Halloween Scream but Cornette made sure to deliver the announcement he promised last week and it did indeed deliver. Cornette says he's that SMW's next big event, Thanksgiving Thunder will held at the Asheville Civic Center's Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville North Carolina. He's signed a deal that will see this event aired live on Thanksgiving night on Fox Sports South! This will be the biggest stage SMW has ever been on and Cornette says he's looking forward to introducing families across the South to professional wrestling as it's meant to be.

Caudle & Cornette welcome fans to another exciting episode of SMW action. Cornette hypes his announcement from last week that Thanksgiving Thunder will air live on Fox Sports South, the single biggest platform the promotion has ever had. Caudle adds that matches for the event will be announced in the coming weeks and he's got the first big announcement right now. Smoky Mountain Wrestling is bringing back its Televised Title. Qualifying matches will be held over the next several weeks with the winners meeting at Thanksgiving Thunder in a four corner elimination match to determine the new champion. Expect more big matches in the weeks to come but for right now let's head to ring!

Match #1. Non title.

The Rock n Roll Express Ricky Morton Robert Gibson defeat The Shadows with a double dropkick to Shadow #1.

The Express join Bob Caudle and are over the moon to once again be Smoky Mountain Tag Team Champions. The promo continues for a bit until Father James Mitchell comes out and starts running down the champs. They argue back and forth until The Nasty Boys attack the Express from behind. The beat down is on with Mitchell cheering the whole thing on. The Express are left in a heap while Mitchell poses with the Nasty Boys.

Match #2

The debuting Robert Roode defeats Todd Morton with a running clothesline to the back of the head. The young Canadian had a naturally cocky demeanor that irked many in the audience.

Terry Gordy is with Caudle who officially welcomes him back to SMW. Gordy thanks him and says his win at Halloween Scream was just the first step to getting back to the Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Title. He held it once before and it was taken from him much too soon. Woman comes out and tells Gordy that trying to take the title off Earthquake is a waste of time because nobody can stop her force of nature. In fact she says, Gordy would be much better served by signing with Woman's stable. She could use someone to carry her bags while she's shopping. Gordy sarcastically thanks her for the "generous offer" but says he'll stick with his original plan. Woman says he'll regret that decision, after all, hell hath no fury like Woman scorned.

Match #3

Steve Mongo McMichael defeats "Tough" Tony Falk with the "Mongo Spike"

Mongo joins Caudle and puts over his issue with Kendall Windham. Mongo says he doesn't care about Windham's family legacy, where he's been, what he's done, none of it. Says he ain't afraid of nobody but God and if the "Outlaw" wants to go another round he ain't a hard man to find.

Main Event. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Title Tournament.

"Devious" Danny Doring w/Woman defeats American Kickboxer. Woman tripped AK as he came off the ropes and he stumbled into "Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am".

Match #1

The Public Enemy (Rocco Roc & Johnny Grunge) defeat Shark Boy & the debuting "Pinoy Boy" TJ Perkins with Grunge pinning Perkins with a diving legdrop. Perkins, who commentary mentioned was "still in highschool". impressed fans with his fast paced offense but cou;dn't overcome his bigger, more experienced opposition.

The Public Enemy cut a promo running down the Tennessee Volunteers for their "fluke win" a couple of weeks ago and saying they aren't finished with those "redneck punks by a longshot."

Match #2

The debuting Eric Young defeated Scorpio (Tony Falk in a mask) with a wheelbarrow neckbreaker.

Father James Mitchell & the Nasty Boys cut a promo saying that the Rock n Roll may have escaped with the tag titles at Halloween Scream but that is just a minor setback. Mitchell says the Nasty's are exactly his types of men. Brutal, vicious and more than ready to give in to their darker impulses. Says he has harnessed the darkness within them and is going to steer them directly to the tag team titles because they are officially demanding a rematch with the Express at Thanksgiving Thunder.

Match #3

"Iron Man" Tommy Cairo defeats Jimmy Jannetty with a Powerslam.

Woman cuts a promo saying Terry Gordy made the biggest mistake of his life last week by deciding to turn  her down as a manager and especially thinking he could challenge the Earthquake. Says what Woman wants, Woman gets and what she wants is to make Gordy regret ever coming back to SMW. Says she's found just the man who can make that happen and if Gordy has the guts that man will be coming to Thanksgiving Thunder and waiting for him.

Mai Event. SMW TV Tite qualifier.

Silver Wings defeats "The Outlaw" Kendall Windham. Windham looked to hit Silver with his cowbell but Mongo ran down and snatched it away with SW taking advantage of Windham yelling at Mongo to perform a O"Conner roll. Windham was irate and rolled out of the ring and charges Mongo and the show ended with security trying to separate the two.
