Match #1

Jimmy Jannety vs Papa Shango w/King Curtis 

The studio is eerily silent as Curtis leads Papa Shango to the ring. Standing 6'6, barrel chested with his face painted as a skull, wearing a top hat and carrying a skull with smoke rising from its eye sockets, you can't deny the mad makes quite the sight. As for the match, it's nothing pretty as Shango dominates with a series of power moves before finishing Jannety off with a Samoan Drop.

UWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino gives us a special announcement from his office where he says that in three weeks time on the landmark tenth episode of UWF Fury Hour, we will see a unique, first of its kind match. This match which he calls the Knock Down, Drag Out will be the biggest match in the UWF yet and the winner will be given the honor of being the first ever UWF North American Champion.

Match #2

The Desperados (Black Bart & Dirty Don) w/Deadeye Dick vs The Lords of Darkness

The mysterious masked duo manage a few cheap shots but the bulk of the match belongs to the outlaws who've really won the hearts of the Orlando faithful with their comedic antics. Victory comes via a double flapjack but the most entertaining part of the segment comes from Alberto Madril, Attorney at Law who spends the whole match talking over the commentators listing all the rules, regulations and laws at the city, state and even federal levels he insists the Desperados have broken. He just doesn't have the proof with him at the moment but he'll bring it....soon.

Also of note is that the clown from last week returned, with the audience at home learning from commentary his name is apparently Doink. Doink spends his time making balloon animals for the live audience. He offers one to Madril who threatens to sue if he comes any closer. As the Desperados are leaving, Dick wonders over to Doink and seems curious about what he's doing. Doink laughs and quickly makes another balloon animal which turns out to be a horse which he gives to Dick. Dick is delighted and rushes to show his new gift to his fellow outlaws.

The Power Twins join Boni Blackstone to give a short and to the point promo. They want the Bruise Brothers in the ring and they want to tear Paul Ellering limb from limb!

Match #3

Ranger Ross vs Russian Assassin #1 (Angel of Death)

The massive Russian keeps Ross on the back foot using his size and strength managing to score a number of nearfalls. Ross fights through it and manages to catch his opponent with the "Combat Kick" seemingly out of nowhere. No sooner has the ref counted three than Vladimir Koloff and the other Assassin Storm the ring and begin putting the boots to Ross. This brings out the Patriots triggering a proper pier six brawl which security is struggling to contain as we head to commercial.

News from the Wrestling Universe: This week's edition focuses on WCW's recent Clash of the Champions, putting special focus on the controversy surrounding the WCW tag titles which will be resolved at an upcoming event airing live from the Omni in Atlanta.

The Beverly Brothers are arrogantly strutting around the ring when "Welcome to my Nightmare" by Alice Cooper starts playing, heralding the arrival of their opponents, Dnny Davis & Ken Wayne...The Nightmares!

Main Event

The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) vs The Beverly Brothers (Beau & Blake)

To begrudginigly give the Beverly's some credit, they shake off the surprise pretty quickly and we get a very competitive TV main event. The match is just starting to get into high gear when the bell rings and Boni Blackstone announces that as we're approaching the end of TV time, this bout is being declared a draw. The Nightmares offer the Beverly's a handshake which the brothers somehow look offended by.

It's so cool seeing Papa Shango arrive. IRL, I think they could have done so much more with this gimmick. I'm looking forward to see what you do with him. 

Bruno's announcement makes this historic match a must see. Excited to see who will become the first champion. 

Madril is working overtime to get some dirt on the Desperados. I never thought I would ever see a Doink/Desperados crossover LOL another great thing about the UWF, you just never know what's going to happen 

Things are heating way up with Ross/Patriots and the Russians. A feud like this always sells

The Power Twins and Bruise Brothers feud has been built up so well. Add in Ellering and this is money. 

Classic TV move with the main event running out of time. It's a great tease leaving the fans wanting more. 

Props to you on making the absolute most of the free agents.

Firecat vs King Cobra

Cat is extra fired up (heh) tonight and crushes Cobra with the Moonsault.

The winner joins Blackstone and makes it clear, he wants Vampire Warrior one more time!

Match #2

The Patriots (Fire breaker Chip & Todd Champion) vs The Creatures

Solid showcase for the newcomers who finish the masked men with a suplex/flying crossbody combo which the announcers dub the "Emergency Evac".

Ranger Ross joins the Patriots who cut a rah-rah promo vowing to take the fight to those Russians. Humorously, Doink the Clown shows up armed with a Super Soaker and spends the promo making action movie poses in the background. Credit to Ross & co, they stay on task though they can be seen holding back a laugh or two.

Match #3

The Dream Machine vs "Bad Man" Barry Horowitz

DM shows off the classic Memphis style and while Horowitz puts up a decent fight, he is sent off to dreamland courtesy of a sleeper hold.

He joins Blackstone who asks what brought him to the UWF.

Dream Machine: Well let'me tell ya Miss Boni Blackstone ol' Dream Machine was up in his house in Mempho watching the world go by babay. Won't no wrasslin coming to the Grind City anymore babay and my phone was as quiet as a church mouse. I was startin' ta think the wrasslin bissnass didn't have a place for ol' Dream Machine anymore babay but then I was flipping through the channels on my ol' TV set when I found tha UWF, that Uni-versal Wrasslin Federation babay and I said to myself I said "that's the place for me babay". So I called into the office, I talked to mr Herb Abrams  , I talked to that livin' Legend mr Bruno Sammartino babay and they both said that same thing, they said "Dream Machince, there's a place for ya down her in Florida babay". So now ol'd Dream Machine is here in the Sunshine state babay to prove to these great fans here in studio 12 and to wrasslin fans all around the country that the Dream Machine is still that baddest man wlkin' both sides of that Mississippi babay and today was just the beginnin'. Thank ya kindly for yo time Mrs Blackstone.

News from the Wrestling Universe: Joe Pedicino runs down the fully revealed card for the AWA approaching PPV, The Happening. He also recaps UWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino's announcement regarding the crowning of the inaugural UWF North American champion and says details regarding the match to crown said champion, the Knock Down, Drag Out will be revealed next week!

Main Event

Mike Graham vs The Super Destroyer w/Skandar Aakbar

Graham gives a spirited effort but some well timed interference by Akbar puts him in perfect position for the Super-plex. Akbar ends the show by shouting into the camera that Super Destroyer will be  the first ever UWF North American champion no matter how many people he has to beat.

It's been a long time and man it's great to see Dream Machine back in our world babay. You nailed the promo. 

You've always used Super Destroyer well and I wouldn't be surprised if he did become North American champion.

Really enjoyed the last two weeks and looking forward to the Knock Down Drag Out Match for the North American Title!

Doink is perfect for the UWF and you used him perfectly as he interupted Ranger Ross and CO.!  Very funny segment.

The Desparados and Madril is an awesome angle. 

Just loved the Dream Machine promo!  That was spot on!

Also, nice job with the end of tv time matches as we get hooked into big matches that make us want more... Ratings go up, crowds go up, mony goes up!

Ring Announcer/Ringside Interviews: Boni Blackstone

UWF Commissioner Bruno Sammartino is seated at his desk to give us the full rundown on next week's Knock Down, Drag Out. This match will feature every wrestler who has scored at least one victory in a one on one match and shall function largely as a battle royal with two key differences. All competitors will be permitted to come dressed as they are and shall be allowed ONE weapon of their choice. Eliminations can occur via being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. Eliminations will only be deemed valid if performed by a competitor still active in the match. The last man standing will have the honor of being the inaugural UWF North American Champion. Further, in the interest of insuring that as many people receive a fair opportunity as possible, the matches on this weeks program will consist entirely of people who have not earned a victory in singles competition meaning that every winner shall be added to next week's event.

Armando Guerrero w/Alberto Madril, Attorney at Law defeats "Dirty" Don Bass by hitting him with Madril's briefcase. Madril was poised to deliver the blow himself but Deadeye Dick & Black Bart ran down and pulled him off the apron causing the briefcase to fall into the ring and Guerrero cracked Bass with it while referee Bill Alfonzo was trying to break up the brawl at ringside.
