WPW has arrived! I can already tell the Dundee Family will get some great heat here. How can you go wrong with tie dyed shirts and the book of Dundee Maybe Mr. Wrestling 37 can call up Mr. Wrestling 2 for some guidance The Dundee's are all over the main event and then get upstaged by Caveman Broda. What a way to end the first episode

Damn, that Clash card is stacked!

Loved the magazine format to catch us all up. I give SMW a lot of credit. They did hold their own with the WWF. It was great seeing Rich and Lawler go at it one more time. Icing on the cake was watching the Funks and Freebirds brawl. Les and Dutch were really on their A games tonight. Commentary mixed in with the matches was very creative Mr. Perfect has arrived and I know he'll be knocking on Gordy's door real soon. Bullet Bob really scored signing Hennig. Is it me or is Hayes more enthusiastic about a Freebird reunion than Gordy. Bundy's also a serious threat to Gordy Sherri's having a hard time just getting her team in public If he can't get Terry, Murdoch's a pretty good runner up. I wonder how Gordy feels about all this. He's got enough on his plate with all the challengers lining up for his title. Can the DWBs bring Wright the happiness he so badly wants Tremendous job setting up the Southern Title match between Garvin and Fuller. Absolutely brilliant Chaos was exactly the way to end tonight's show. There was a lot of tension and things needed to burst Will Sherri ever get her team to SMW? These guys must be as good as Sherri brags about. Great week. SMW is really clicking.

SummerSlam! Let's do this! Props to Monsoon and Callis for making this feel like an epic event Tag team chaos to kick things off. Wow! Tito and Hacksaw pull it off. Didn't see that coming. Tito and Duggan are adored by the fans, so this should be a fun reign. Tatanka gets a nice win on the big stage. On the flip side, Bravo seems way off his game and even loses his manager. I wonder what's troubling Dino. Enjoyed Z-Man's clean win over the established Beefcake. This makes Zenk very credible and Hart has an argument for a title shot. King vs. JYD was well written and exactly the way I could see this going down. Lawler gets to shine and remain a top heel. I got a good laugh from that Survivor Series logo. Warlord takes advantage of Spivey's shoulder issue to get a big win. Warlord's getting a nice push. Backlund snaps! A deranged Backlund is a very dangerous and unpredictable Backlund. I liked how you used Nailz for this moment because it makes Backlund even scarier. That dirty Tugboat! Kerry had it! Kerry will need some back up if he wants to tangle with the Natural Disasters. Convincing title defense for Dynamite. I'm hoping him and Zenk will go at it for the TV title. Hogan triumphs in his big WWF return! You've got a great story going here, setting up Hogan/Andre while keeping the Jake/Dibiase angle strong. Funk and Flair tear it up! Man, what a match! Funk stays strong by passing out while Flair gets the visual of the night holding up his newly won title. WOOOOO! Awesome job! Props to all the hard work you put into this. The promos were very well written and the commentary was spot on. And of course, your match descriptions all told the story.

Firestorm! The opening match and result shows just how competitive and hungry the new teams are. Oh man, Dreamer gives Wright a beating he'll never forget! I wonder if this will finally wake Wright up Hamrick puts down a game Guido Ultimo makes it known he's still in contention for the LHW title I love how Martel and Windham went into pure brawl mode. Martel pulls this one out but I think Windham will want another round. Damn, did we just see the birth of extreme wrestling? Sabu has changed the landscape Severn's onto something and just made a breakthrough with Taz. Sadly, the FOJ's reign comes to an end. However, I can't help but feel happy for Scotty and Stevie. Their arc has been amazing. RVD pulls out another title defense in another thriller. After one heck of a war, Slaughter finally defeats Condrey to end night one on the highest of notes Night 2 After that performance, Bigelow should be considered a title contender I got to give it up to the Headbangers. They never gave up and finally got that huge win over Iron and Steel. No doubt about it, Douglas is ready for another shot at RVD. Gunns win the battle but as far as the Dudley's are concerned, the war isn't over Whoa! If Awesome was looking to make a statement, mission accomplished! It was a long road but Candido finally gets the best of Rose. Feel good moment of the night. Savage ekes out the win but Lee makes it known he wants more Aw man, Lynn was so close. But hey, who wouldn't want to watch these guys go another round Thrillseekers proved why they've rapidly become one of the top teams in PCW. That was some impressive teamwork Busick narrowly escapes Eddie again. I wonder what's going through Eddie's mind right now. Adams victory only puts this feud with Bret at a higher level. These two might have to settle things in a cage SOB's give the Midnights quite a scare. I agree, the young teams are coming on strong. How long can the Midnights survive? Kawada and Williams end the weekend with a banger. They gave the fans everything they could expect and more. Strong finish for Kawada and this makes him look almost invincible. Excellent job!

He easily wins the match with a corkscrew elbow drop. Nelson: Chicky, on September 5th, you will return to Puerto Rico and face Carlos Colon. Or should I say, you'll be answering to Carlos Colon. Chicky: Yea I heard Carlos crying and whining like a sissy last week. Carlos, you failed and let our people down. They need someone to believe in and that's me. In Puerto Rico, I'll give our people the hero they need. Somebody who won't let them down. You're a failure Carlos and I hope you're holding your head down in shame every night. I take care of you in Puerto Rico. Commercial Break We see the familiar desolate town. The camera pans up to the Hangman as he grips his noose. The camera pans over to Nell. Nell: Greetings all. Did you think we were never coming back? Oh no, no, no. We've been carefully choosing our next victim and I believe we've come to a decision. Leo Burke, you've been chosen. You see Leo, we've been watching you very carefully. You're a man who can't face the reality that your time has come. Well Leo, your time has come and it's time for the Hangman to put you out of your misery. See you soon Leo. See you real soon. The Hangman tightens his grip on the noose. Jumbo Tsuruta and Shinya Hashimoto vs. Randall Jones and Steven Moorehead A couple weeks ago these two seemed far off from being on the same page. Something must've happened since because tonight these two are in total sync. Hashimoto executes a brainbuster on Jones and tags in Jumbo. Jumbo finishes things off with a powerbomb! After the match, Jumbo and Shinya bow to each other. Commercial Break Footage is shown from Title Night as Dundee and Parsons attack the RPMs after their world tag title match. The Iceman and The Superstar w/Jackie vs. Gary Enos and Harold Bannister Parsons hits the Hip Attack and Dundee follows with the Bombs Away for the win. Nelson's about to conduct an interview when Austin Idol struts out Idol: Nelson, I'll take it from here. (looks at Jackie) Jackie, darling, I've got some incredible news for you. At Title Night, you got your revenge on the RPMs and man I loved every minute of that. Jackie, Parsons and Dundee laugh and nod Idol: I was riding that high and went into a bar to celebrate. Well, sitting in that bar was none other than...wait, I don't want to let the cat out of the bag. Here's his card. Idol hands Jackie the card. Jackie's eyes widen. Jackie shows Parsons and Dundee. They look very impressed. Idol: That's right! Jackie darling, I have a master plan. I'll take over managing the Iceman and Superstar and as a gift, I want you to represent that man. He's all yours Jackie. I know you can work wonders with him. We'll still be affiliated but you call all the shots with him. If you ever need anything, we'll always be there for you. Jackie, what do you say? Jackie: Austin! You're talking my language. Yea, I got this and I wont let him down. That's a fact! Idol: I know it is Jackie. Brown: At Title Night all you beer belly sharecroppers saw me run the gauntlet. That was just the beginning. It's time to get my world title back and that means it's time to run through Kokina! We see footage from Title Night when Dr. X and Norman caused chaos. That's followed by Lou Perez tossing his crutch to Al. Al hits Gama Singh's ribs with it and executes the helicopter drop to win the title. We come back to Larry Nelson Nelson: Joining me now is the new AWA TV Champion, Al Perez. Boos as Lou (still on crutches) comes out with Al. The fans boo louder as Al smiles and holds up the TV title. Nelson: I can't believe what went down at Title Night. Al, how can you call yourself a champion. Lou: Hold up Larry! You will refer to my brother, the TV champion as the Latin Heartthrob Al Perez! Al: Great job Lou, you always got my back. To answer your question Larry, I call myself the TV champion because I earned this! I straight up asked Gama if he was good to wrestle at that idiot said yes. My brother Lou will be managing my affairs while he heals from his knee injury. See, Lou's smart unlike that goof Gama. Gama needs to worry about that lunatic that's after him. As for me, I will be a fighting champion. Bring them on and I'll knock each challenger over like dominos. The fans boo as Lou points to Al while he smiles and holds up the TV title. Commercial Break The Mavericks and 'Maniac' Matt Borne vs. Rampage and Scott 'Flash' Norton w/ Ted Arcici We get a good 10 minute fun match where everybody gets some shine in. Norton shows off his power. Borne proves he's tough as nails. Rampage brings the brutality and the Mavericks true grit comes out. Things get crazy when Arcidi interferes. A chaotic pier six brawl breaks loose. During the melee, Storm puts Equalizer down with a spere. While the Ref is tied up across the ring with brawling wrestlers, Arcidi tosses Norton a foreign object. Norton stuffs it in his elbow pad and adjusts it on his arm. Storm turns around to look for the Ref but Norton blasts him with a loaded clothesline! Norton covers as Arcidi yells at the Ref. The Ref dives over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOOOOOO

Koloff's got some muscle and I'm sure Ross will bring the calvary The Desperados finally made it! Seems like Bruno's already taking a liking to them When there's a surprise roll up a rematch is usually coming. I could imagine Luna losing it when that happened Ellering and the Harris Brothers send a strong message to the Power Twins. They better reinforce the ring when those teams hook up Pedicino's a well informed man What an in ring debut for the Desperados! I can't wait to hear what Alberto Attorney at Law has to say about this. -

The Rio attendance proves it's a hotbed for the UWF Maia and Ismail get the hometown fans fired up Murilo gets a huge submission win over Fujiwara. This will give Murilo some big buzz over in Japan Onita quiets down the crowd a bit with a win over a hometown favorite. It seemed Tadeu got a little too excited Loved that traditional cradle by Erickson. Just a good old fashion wrestling move. Mendes just couldn't recover from Takada's kick. Damn! What a strong finishing sequence by Karelin. This man is truly a wrecking machine. I would love to see him and Vader hook up. Yamazaki made him work for it but Maeda is able to rebound from his Vader defeat Defeating a legend like Fujinami in Rio will definitely send the fans home happy. Gigantic win for Ruas. Once again, excellent match descriptions

The first few minutes is back and forth seesaw action. Each team shines with some fantastic double team maneuvers. Tribal Nation comes close to victory with a double hot shot but Los Boricuas comes back later and almost seal the deal with a double flapjack but Tribal Nation weather the storm. The minutes are counting down and we get a pier six brawl. Mark Youngblood is dropkicked out of the ring. While he's out there, he grabs his tomahawk. Inside the ring, the Ref final guides Perez back to his corner. Castillo has Chris up in a suplex position but Mark runs in and whacks Castillo's back with the tomahawk. Chris falls on top as the Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOOOOO! Commercial Break The Cobra vs. Trent Watkins Cobra excites the fans once again with his high octane offense. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, we're going to send you to the home of Carlos Colon. Let's hear what he has to say. Colon's sitting on a chair in his home. Colon: I've had a lot of time to think about WrestleRock. I feel I really let my people down and that nearly broke my heart. No excuses but Chicky Starr, what you did was low even for you. You must now face the consequences. You and I have a match scheduled to take place right here in Puerto Rico. I want all my people to see me get my revenge on you! I want all my people to see you bleed for what you did! You will answer to me and to the people. Prepare yourself Chicky because you're going to feel all my wrath and the people's wrath! Nelson: Strong and threatening words from Carlos Colon and I don't blame him one bit. That match will take place in Puerto Rico on Saturday September 5th. Tiger punches away on JT and hurls him into the ring as the Ref hits 10. The Ref signals for the bell. Tiger has been counted out. Tiger can't believe it. JT's lying on the mat as the Ref reaches down and raises his arm. I think Tiger got a little too excited. Debeers wins the match with his front face piledriver. Nelson: These fans are letting you have it Debeers and I know when Big Bossman returns you're going to be in serious trouble. Debeers: HA! The Big Bossman is no longer law and order around here! The Big Bossman is a fraud and a gutless coward! I am the real law and order around here and he knows it! That's why he hasn't shown his face. (Debeers picks up his wooden club) If Bossman ever decides to show his face here again, I'll put him down! Commercial Break Bobby Blaze vs. 'The Ace' Frank Andersson w/Greg Gagne The fans are behind Blaze as he gets into the ring and looks pumped up and ready to go. The boos reign down as Gagne leads his Ace to the ring. Ace looks a lot more serious and focused tonight. Gagne grabs Ace's towel and makes some disparaging remarks at Blaze. Ace starts off quick and takes Blaze down and proceeds to work him over with textbook amateur wrestling. Blaze survives and comes back with hip tosses and arm drags then works Ace over with an arm bar. Ace comes back and turns things up as he goes on a suplex onslaught. Ace goes for an elbow drop but Blaze moves. Blaze regroups and the fans fire him up. Blaze dropkicks Ace down and follows with a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Blaze swings Ace hard into the corner. Ace staggers out as Blaze back drops him. Gagne gets on the apron but Blaze dropkicks him off. Blaze swings Ace into the corner and charges in but Ace moves as Blaze crashes into the turnbuckles. Ace grabs Blaze and hits a German Suplex. Ace picks up Blaze and hits a belly to back suplex. Ace picks up Blaze and executes a cradle suplex 1..2..3! Gagne staggers into the ring. He raises Ace's arm. Ace wipes the sweat off his forehead and flings it down at Blaze. Gagne couldn't be happier and I'm sure we'll all hear about it. Commercial Break The Barbarian vs. Todd Rooney Barbarian just mauls his poor opponent and nearly decapitates him with a flying clothesline from the top rope for the win. Commercial Break The Ultimate Warrior vs. Ray Glader Barbarian is slowly walking up the aisle. Warrior comes sprinting down but Barbarian doesn't move. Warrior stops in his tracks. Barbarian stares Warrior down and pushes him. Warrior pushes back and starts raising his arms and roaring. Security and officials run out to break it up. Barbarian yells at Warrior as he's led away. Warrior pounces his chest at Barbarian then darts to the ring. Warrior is on fire and the fans are up and cheering. Warrior presses Glader over his head and drops him. Warrior swings off the ropes and hits a splash for the win. Warrior shakes the ropes and looks up the aisle as if wishing Barbarian would come back out. Nelson: My goodness, I can't imagine what it would be like if those two hooked up in the ring. Ok fans, tomorrow night in Winnipeg, Ken Resnick will host Title night. Four big title bouts along with a number one contender's gauntlet match. You won't want to miss it.

Madril puts his attorney expertise to work. LOL, I bought it, but Bruno didn't. Can't wait to see what happens in next week's big tag match. Power Twins vs. Harris Brothers. Bring it on! Oh and nice bit with the Creatures. I believe these two did actually wrestle as the Creatures IRL at a Halloween Havoc. Koloff gets his win (tainted) back. Looks like Ross is going to need some allies. I like this storyline Will the Desperados ever find their way to U-Dubbya- Eff??? Beverly Brothers are obnoxious but prove they can get the job done in the ring Cool segment with what's going on in the wrestling world. It's hard enough focusing on Link and almost impossible with Curtis on the outside. Link's been on a roll with Curtis. These shows have been so entertaining. Keep up the great work -
WCW keeps moving right along Sting's got his hands full with York International Hits a powerbomb and breaks the stretcher! Sid's a monster! So excited for the Steiners/Nasties feud I'm wondering what's next for the Road Warriors Muta's really becoming a sore spot for the Dangerous Alliance I like the importance being put on the top ten rankings

After his interference in the world title bout at WrestleRock, Chicky Starr makes his in ring return to the AWA. All that and a lot more, so let's get to the ring. The Rock N Roll RPMs vs. Samson Smith and Carl Kellerman RPMs are on fire tonight and win the match with their Spandex Split. RPMs cut a promo and say they've never been more of a cohesive unit and at Title Night they're taking home the gold! Commercial Break Bobby Blaze vs. Trent Watkins Fan favorite Blaze gets the win with the Northern Lights Suplex Nelson: Bobby Blaze, come on over. I'm sure you've been listening to Greg Gagne because you signed on for the rematch with his Ace, Frank Andersson. That match takes place right here, next week. Blaze: Yea, Greg says lightning won't strike twice but I say it will. Bobby Blaze is looking to rise the rankings and that will continue next week when I beat the Ace...again! Commercial Break We see footage from a couple weeks ago when Norman went crazy on Gama and Monster Mashed him twice on the concrete. Nelson: Fans, I've been told that Gama Singh suffered bruised ribs but has made it clear that he will be at Title Night to defend his title against Al Perez. That's what I call a true fighting champion. Now get ready because that lunatic Norman is up next. Norman the Lunatic w/Dr. X vs. Mike Jurgens Dr. X calmly looks on as Norman destroys his opponent and finishes him off with the Monster Mash! Nelson: We all just saw the footage. Dr. X, may I ask why... Dr. X cuts him off X: What is this man's name? Nelson: (nervously) Ah, his name is N...Norman X: Very good. Gama Singh was a message sent and I hope everybody received it loud and clear. Now it appears certain sick people have labeled Norman a lunatic. We take strong offense to that. What these people did was unleash the monster within Norman. Just remember, from now on, Norman's actions are on everybody else's conscience. Norman, time to go. Norman walks up to a nervous Nelson and stares him down before slowly walking away. Commercial Break 'Unpredictable' Dick Slater vs. Neil Jordan Slater roughs up his opponent and easily finishes him off with a Russian Leg Sweep Slater cuts a promo and says he's going to run through the gauntlet at Title Night and get his rightful world title shot. Right now, each and every one of you are going to have the privilege of watching the future of tag team wrestling. I'm taking these guys all the way to the top. So, please welcome Slick Vic and Superb Scotty, the Hit Sensations! The Hit Sensations (Vic Steamboat and Scott Putski) w/Malia vs. Todd Rooney and Ray Glader The Hit Sensations come out wearing black wrestling pants with yellow stripes. They've got on black vests with yellow studded letters on the back that say 'Sensations' Malia cheers them on as they work over their opponents. Scotty hits a Polish Hammer on Glader and tags in Vic. Scotty holds Glader in a backbreaker position as Vic comes off the top rope with a flying leg drop to the chest for the win. Malia looks into the camera and says "That move's called the Hit Maker! Commercial Break The Iceman and The Superstar w/Jackie vs. Paul Crew and Harold Bannister Parsons and Dundee just work so well together and they let everyone know that. Parsons hits the Hip Attack and tags in Dundee, who finishes things off with the Bombs Away. Jackie cuts a promo and says the RPMs have done nothing to earn a world tag team title shot but they better be worried about the Iceman and Superstar because we're all coming after you! 'The Love Machine' Art Barr w/ The Vin Man vs. William Hillman Vin smiles and applauds as Barr hits the Frog Splash for the win. Nelson: Vinnie, I'm glad to see you've woken up after that punch Hector Camacho gave you at WrestleRock Vin: Real funny Larbo, but you're not going to sour our mood today. No way! Art Barr has risen the rankings faster than any man in the history of the AWA and nothing can stop him. At Title Night, Artie's going to run through those three other chumps and seal his shot at the world title...YEA! Commercial Break Chicky Starr vs. Carl Kellerman Massive boos as Chicky enters the ring. Chicky spends a lot of time yelling at the fans but finally finishes things off with a corkscrew elbow drop. Nelson: (Disgusted) Chicky Starr, what you did at WrestleRock was inexcusable. You tainted the world title bout! Why would you do that? Chicky: You ask why? Why wouldn't I do that? I am the biggest wrestling star in Puerto Rico and everybody knows that! Carlos Colon didn't deserve that shot but he gets it and look what happened? He lost and embarrassed himself for all of Puerto Rico to see. Carlos Colon should be ashamed of himself! I would have never let my people down but he did! Carlos Colon is nothing but a loser! Where is he now? He's too ashamed to show his face and he should be! If Carlos has a problem with me try and do something about it! Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. Jumbo Tsuruta and Shinya Hashimoto Jumbo and Shinya look a bit distraught tonight while the Bombers look ready to go. Jumbo and Shinya are off their game as the Bombers control early and take turns working both men over. Bombers almost get the win when Smith hit a snap suplex on Jumbo and Tony followed with a senton from the second rope but Jumbo managed to barely get his shoulder up. Minutes later, Jumbo and Shinya finally get control and get in some hard hitting moves. During a double team, Jumbo power bombed Smith and covered but the Ref told Jumbo he wasn't the legal man. This confusion gave Smith the chance to roll over and tag in Tony. Tony's on fire but Shinya stops him with a thrust shot to the throat. Jumbo and Shinya are having words on the outside. They both look unenthused and walk away from each other.

Ross even caught me by surprise with that quick combat kick win. I have a feeling Koloff isn't done with him LOL, the Desperados video cracked me up. It's not looking good, but hopefully they can make it too the UWF. Akbar's not playing around. Soon, Bruno will have his hands full with Devastation Inc. The Beverly Brothers are definitely getting over as heels and haven't even wrestled yet Hometown favorite Graham beats Cobra in a fun old school match Wow, didn't see that coming as the Power Twins tell Ellering to take a hike. I'm sure Ellering won't forget about this Oh yea! More Alberto/Bruno banter. Armando is back in the game! Not the best debut as Boogie Woogie Man spoils things and gets the comical win. I can see the fun of working off the Free Agents list. We never know what's next. -
Dynamite's the guy you want in the opener. Definitely gets the fans warmed up This is a solid win for Rich. He beats a creditable heel and gets the fans behind him Same thing for Garvin. Beating Budro in this area gives Garvin a lot of steam Oh man, Dutch might be laughing now but Bullet is going to lay the law down big time after that despicable stunt I can just imagine the fans being totally invested in the wild 6 man tag. This feud is far from over We knew people were going to bleed in the chain match and these 4 guys delivered. This win puts TNT on a different level. They might be pretty but now everybody knows how tough they are Gordy and Hansen put it all out there and give the people everything they could ask for. A rematch could give SMW a sold out arena.

Damn, rough week for Hennig. I agree with AD, this is on Paul E Badd and Bagwell are off to good starts Down to three, but the Dangerous Alliance seems more confident than ever Taker and Bearer are getting more creepier every week Good to see Skinner back. Sid may think he's done but Luger sends a strong message that he isn't Missy and the Nasties are going to give the Steiners a lot of trouble Sting vs. Tenryu! Bring it! And just like that, the Dangerous Alliance get their heat back

Looks like Ultimo and Modest will have to settle things at Firestorm FBI get the hard fought victory but Fastball's stock is rising PCO knows exactly what he's getting into with Sabu Savage knocks down a domino as he gets closer to Lee Windham and Martel are going to tear it up in Phoenix Oh man, doesn't look good for Eagle. Portland Headbangers just wont give up on one day getting the better of Iron and Steel Big win for the SOBs taking down the former champs Williams looks more than ready for Kawada Eddie just keeps moving up If you're not 100%, the Midnights will definitely capitalize The night ends on a DQ but no doubt about it, the return of Anvil and Owen sent the fans home happy Eugene Lance kicks off the night with a nice upset Douglas is in the zone! Nothing can stop Albright when he's in animal mode That move gives Liger some serious momentum heading into Firestorm Thanks to Rose, his boys get the victory over a hurt Eagle. The FOJ's title reign could be in trouble Lightning Kid closes out another action packed weekend

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 8-7-91 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight, you'll see the AWA world tag team champs, Mil Mascaras and El Canek. For a TV title shot at the next Title Night in Winnipeg, Al Perez goes up against Rip Morgan. Los Boricuas takes on the Tribal Nation. AWA 6-Man champs, Demolition will be in action. Commissioner Magnum TA will be here with a big announcement. All that and a lot more, so let's get to the ring. 'Maniac' Matt Borne vs. Samson Smith Borne comes to the ring wearing his beanie and jean shorts while holding up his axhandle. Borne beats his opponent down and finishes things off with the Northern Exposure. Borne cuts a promo and says he ran that so called tough guy Sam Houston out of town and then challenges more tough guys to get in the ring with him. Commercial Break Scott 'Flash' Norton w/Ted Arcidi vs. Trent Watkins Arcidi's loud and boisterous on the outside as Norton pummels his opponent. Norton hits the powerslam and it's all over. Nelson: Ok Ted, it's official, your man Scott Norton will get a shot at the AWA International title in 2 weeks at Title Night. Arcidi: Well, it's about damn time Scott Norton gets some respect around here! I feel so sorry for you Konnan. Tell them Scotty! Norton: Konnan! Get ready for the beating of your life! That title is mine and I'm gonna take it! Arcidi and Norton do some more yelling and laughing before leaving. Nelson looks at them like they're crazy. Commercial Break Los Boricuas vs. The Tribal Nation Both teams are coming off big wins at WrestleRock and want to get into the title picture. They waste no time tonight as the first few minutes are back and forth hard hitting action. Tribal Nation take control as they do a number on Miguel. Chris holds Miguel as Mark comes off the top rope with a tomahawk chop 1..2..Kick Out. Miguel weathers the storm and eventually makes the tag to Castillo. Castillo gets things in Boricuas favor as they work over Mark. Castillo slams Mark as Miguel hits an elbow drop from the top rope 1..2..Chris runs in to break it. A pier six brawl breaks out. During the melee the bell sounds signaling a ten minute draw. The bell keeps ringing but the brawl is still going. Commercial Break Nelson: Wow, as you just saw, the tag team competition here in the AWA is at an all time high. Fans, joining me now is the Commissioner Magnum TA. Magnum, I know you have a lot to talk about so go right ahead. Magnum: Thank you Larry. Things are really moving in the AWA and honestly, I'm still on a high from WrestleRock. However, the AWA is ready to move forward in an exciting way. In 2 weeks, Title Night will take place in Winnipeg. Last week the Guerreros were announced as the number one world tag team contenders. Due to a scheduling conflict, they won't be able to get their shot at Title Night but will get their shot in the near future. As for Title Night, the RPMs will take on Canek and Mascaras for the world tag titles. That should be a great match for sure. Now, we all saw what happened to Gama Singh last week at the hands of that lunatic Norman. Gama suffered a couple broken ribs but insisted he will be at Title Night to defend his title. I tried to talk him out of it but like I said, he insisted. So, as of now, he'll be defending his title against the winner of tonight's Al Perez/Rip Morgan match. And finally, added to Title Night will be a 4 man gauntlet match to determine the number one contender to the AWA world title. The 4 men that have been chosen are The Magnificent Muraco, Bad News Brown, Dick Slater and Art Barr. I want to note that the Big Bossman would've been in this match but due to injuries sustained by Col Debeers and the Hangman at WrestleRock, he's unfortunately still out of action. Title Night is set and you won't want to miss it. Commercial Break The Barbarian vs. Neil Jordan Poor Neil Jordan gets the beating of his life. Barbarian puts him out of his misery with a diving clothesline from the top rope! Nelson: Wow! The Barbarian has already taken the AWA by storm... Boooooooos as Greg Gagne walks out. Nelson: (rolls his eyes) Greg, what are you doing here? Gagne: Shut up Nerd and just listen! At WrestleRock, everybody witnessed the biggest and luckiest fluke in wrestling history. Nelson: (smiling) Are you referring to Bobby Blaze pinning your ace? Gagne: I said shut up! (calms down) It was a major fluke, plain and simple. From now on, no more games and no more playing nice guy. My ace is in Sweden training harder than ever. I'm out here to simply say, we want a rematch with Bobby Blaze and if he has the guts, he'll accept. But listen up Bobby Boy! Lighting won't strike twice and we can guarantee that! I'm out of here. Commercial Break The Mavericks vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Young and Storm look more confident than ever. Young puts Lopez down with a bulldog from the second rope and tags in Storm. Storm swings Lopez to the ropes and hits the spere for the win. The Mavericks cut a promo and say that now their business with Austin Idol is over, they're looking at a chance for some tag team gold. Commercial Break Bad News Brown vs. Ray Glader Brown rips apart his opponent and ends it with the ghetto blaster! Nelson: Bad News Brown, at WrestleRock, it was obvious the match against Maxx Payne didn't matter to you. Brown: That was just to show that when you mess with me, it's bad news for you! Speaking of bad news, at Title Night, I'm going in there for one reason and one reason only and that's to stake my claim for the world title which means that's a lot of bad news for those three other slouches! Commercial Break Winner gets an AWA TV title shot at Title Night Al Perez vs. Rip Morgan w/The Equalizer Perez starts off quick by taking down Morgan with hip tosses and dropkicks. The tide changes when Equalizer trips Perez allowing Morgan to work over Perez. Morgan chokes Perez on the ropes. During the break, Equalizer reaches in and chokes Perez. Morgan slams Perez's head on the turnbuckle, swings him to the ropes and hits a big boot to the face 1..2..Perez gets his shoulder up. Morgan swings Perez to the corner and charges in but Perez moves. Perez fires up. He hops on the turnbuckles and punches down on Morgan as the fans count along. Perez grabs Morgan and hits a hanging suplex. Perez swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Equalizer hops on the apron. Perez goes over and nails him with a punch. Perez turns around as Morgan rakes his eyes. Morgan pounds down on Perez. Equalizer stands up on the apron. Morgan swings Perez towards him but Perez reverses it and swings Morgan into Equalizer. Morgan staggers into a bridging back suplex by Perez 1..2..3! An excited Perez cuts a promo and wishes his brother a speedy recovery from knee surgery. Perez then says he's excited to face Gama at Title Night and hopes he'll be in good health by then. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs Mil Mascaras and El Canek vs. William Hillman and Todd Rooney The champs are in total sync tonight. Canek holds Rooney up in a suplex position as Mascaras hits a flying press from the top rope for the win! The fans cheer as Canek and Mascaras hold up the titles. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, before we get to our next match, I've been informed that next week Chicky Starr will be here and boy does he have a lot of explaining to do. Ok, back to the ring. AWA 6-Man Champs Demolition vs. 3 Local Talents Pure showcase for Demolition as they get their hard hitting spots in and win the match with the decapitator! Nelson: Another win for the 6 man champs. Smash, you get the opportunity of a lifetime at Title Night when you go for the world title against Kokina. Crush: We couldn't be happier for our brother! Ax: We'll be by his side and if Adnan sticks his nose in things, it'll be hell to pay! Smash: Kokina! You're big and bad but that doesn't mean nothing to me! Let's see how you respond when I kick your teeth down your throat! We're the 6 man champs but Demolition will hold all of the titles in the AWA if we want! And nobody can stop us! AWA Title Night Winnipeg Arena 8-22-91 AWA World Title Bout Kokina (C) w/Adnan Al-Kassie vs. Demolition Smash w/Ax and Crush AWA World Tag Team Title Bout El Canek and Mil Mascaras (C) vs. The Rock N Roll RPMs AWA International Title Bout Konnan (C) vs. Scott 'Flash' Norton w/ Ted Arcidi AWA TV Title Bout Gama Singh (C) vs. Al Perez AWA World Title Number One Contender Gauntlet Match The Magnificent Muraco vs. Bad News Brown vs. 'Unpredictable' Dick Slater vs. 'The Love Machine' Art Barr w/The Vin Man

Man, I really enjoy these behind-the -scenes reports. I can totally see the different sides of having Hogan back. One thing's for sure, he has a lot of heels he can draw money with. Another thing I find very interesting is what Dusty's creative mind will come up with in this WWF world. His head must be spinning with Hogan, Flair, Funk, Lawler, Von Erich and Dibiase.
