Loss Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow evening at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Guest Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Ric Flair Hall is overrated in a lot of ways, and while Flair hasn't had a good run in WWE over the past few years, Flair still walks it.
Guest Some Guy Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Flair. Hall's only run on top came in Flair's shadow. And Flair has now been with the company 6 years total to Hall's 4 and change.
Loss Posted May 8, 2005 Author Report Posted May 8, 2005 Ric Flair Razor had a major turnaround in career fortune around 1993 or so, and until 1996, he was one of the most popular babyfaces on the roster, but Flair came in and made a big impact from the day he walked in the door, and he sustained it until the day he left. Both had really bad second run-throughs, so those cancel each other out.
Guest teke184 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Ric Flair Flair's 91 to 93 run drew more money and had better matches for the most part than Razor had in his 92 to 96 run. Razor's only match that really tops Flair was the infamous ladder match and it was Shawn Michaels carrying the load there.
goodhelmet Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 I hate to vote Flair here because I think Razor just feels like a WWF guy. Flair always seemed like a fish out of water... even when he was the champ. Still, Flair deserves the nod. Ric Flair
Guest KingPK Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Ric Flair. But Will, that's part of why I enjoyed his first WWF run so much; he adapted so well to the different atmosphere and showed everyone how it was done.
