Loss Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Loss Posted May 10, 2005 Author Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage Flair would get the nod if there was no limit on timeframe or promotion, but Savage gets the nod in this case. This would be close had Flair had a longer run.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage Nice to see that their historic WWF feud crosses over into the tournament.
Guest rob Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Ric Flair Even as Champion, Savage was looked at as the number 2 guy in the promotion, next to Hulk Hogan. Hogan was the draw during the time that was supposed to be Savage's chance to run on top. During his short first stint, Flair was where it was at. He was the main attraction and had great matches in the process.
Guest Mac Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Savage. He simply did more within the timeframe and the company that this applies to. If it were based on entire career then Flair would win hands down. And hands up.
Guest Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage Given the restrictions, Savage had to win.
Guest Alfdogg Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage There's only three guys I'll vote ahead of him in this tourney.
Guest KingPK Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage I just KNEW these two were going to face off. Since this is WWF only, I'll have to give it to Savage in a close one. Their feud over Liz better be on the next Flair DVD. I swear I have the WWF magazine with the pictures somewhere.
Guest teke184 Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Randy Savage Randy has the edge over Flair due to longevity in the WWF as well as the fact that he was involved in several big-money feuds as well as multiple classic matches that are still remembered today.
