Loss Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Coffey Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Hmm. Another tough one. I liked Randy Savage a lot. I thought that he was crazy. His matches and promo's always entertained me as well. Of course, Bret was the same way. Not only that but I enjoyed it when Bret was on top. *scratches head* Man, I really don't know on this one. I really liked Savage/WARRIOR & Savage/Steamboat...but I really liked Hart/Piper & Hart/Austin. I guess it comes down to me liking The Hart Foundation more than the Mega Powers. Bret Hart
goodhelmet Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 This one is the hardest one for me. Bret carried Diesel. Savage carried Warrior. Fuck.... Randy Savage
Guest Bruiser Chong Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Bret Hart. Hart may have delivered a similar style of match too often, but he never really phoned it in like Savage did half of the time. Savage also had the misfortune of never really being the centerpiece of the promotion both times he was WWF champion.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Bret Hart Hart has more longevity within the company (in this time period), has a better matchset, and has more time on the top of the card. Savage is probably a top five guy for me in this tournament, but he doesn't get the nod over Bret Hart.
Marty Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Bret Hart I'm using goodhelmet's reasoning, but with a different outlook: Warrior > Diesel, in my opinion. Plus more people gave a shit about Warrior, so Savage had a slightly easier task. And thus concludes my "Vote for Bret Hart" day.
