Loss Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Marty Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Steve Austin This is similar to the Rock vote, as Benoit's slide in match quality after the injury is the big factor here. Oddly enough, I remember more great Steve Austin WWF matches than I do of Chris Benoit. Also, it's tough to ignore Austin's impact.
goodhelmet Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I agree. Steve Austin deserves the nod here. Stone Cold
Guest teke184 Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Steve Austin Austin's drawing power and promo ability blow Benoit out of the water. Benoit's a better worker, but Austin was effectively a cripple for most of his run on top.
