Loss Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning at the latest. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Marty Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Mick Foley Drew better than Benoit, and got decent->good matches out of lugs, something Benoit didn't do too often, if at all.
goodhelmet Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Mick Foley... for all of the reasons Loss gave Foley the nod over Rock for.
Ray Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Chris Benoit Mick Foley Drew better than Benoit, and got decent->good matches out of lugs, something Benoit didn't do too often, if at all. Where are these good Foley carry jobs? And Benoit got good matches out of Kane, Batista, Flair, Tyson Tomko, and A-Train.
Guest teke184 Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Mick Foley Mick pulled good matches out of Undertaker at a time when people thought it was impossible. He also helped make The Rock and Triple H, although the last one shouldn't be held against him.
Ray Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Where are these "good" Undertaker-Foley matches people always mention? I've never seen any Undertaker-Foley match that I would call "good." Summerslam 1996 is among the most boring matches I've ever seen. I don't recall Survivor Series 1996 being anything special. I would hope no one rates KOTR 98 by this point. None of them were anywhere near as good as the match I saw Bret Hart get out of Undertaker in 1992.
MyOwnSummer Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Foley. If this was entire career, It would be closer.
