Back to Steve Pardee for anyone familiar with the guy: Did he ever have a heel run? In 2 different matches I've seen him get ticked off and I see heel potential in him. I need a babyface way more right now but it'd be something to keep in mind. Also, holy shit I didn't know "Mr Electricity" Steve Regal was already 32 in 1983.

Steve Pardee in the first or 2nd match of the card is somewhat typical of what the first 2 matches on the card would be in a lot of territories anyway. Local guys, jobbers, or just rather bland technical wrestling often ending in a draw.

I actually have one more guy I really kind of want and I don't know who else would have him on their radar except for KrisZ. Actually I like him far better than Pardee every time I see him on tape but he's a bit old in 1983 and doesn't do much in 1984 or anything after that I could find.

I looked at Pardee but cut him off my list. There is nothing but the dregs of babyfaces left. I needed one more that I could actually trust even if he wasn't getting pushed. He is very bland but not bad at all. I watched him in a match against "Jimmy" Afi last night and it was perfectly acceptable if not somewhat boring wrestling.

There ain't much left Grimmas. I didn't exactly have overwhelming praise for my own pick of Steve Pardee. "Competent and can be trusted to fill out my arena cards (at the very low end)"

Amazing speed caught me off guard. I went to bed assuming there was no chance I would pick until this afternoon and wake up to see I was on the clock all night. I under estimated you guys.. I was doing as much poking and prodding as I could. Rick Patterson: He is tall. That's all I got.

Joe Lightfoot: He's ok I guess. I kept trying to think of a good tag partner but all the ones on the list seemed to be old when I researched them (and I couldn't make El Santo Negro turn into Billy Two Eagles in Southwest)

I guess you couldn't book your big show in the Dome but you could always still set a date to build things to and use that as your "big show" stand in.

That's cool, we just had 8 picks in less than 2 hours because of people using proxies and having their picks ready so I'm just happy to do what I can to keep it rolling.
