  1. Blackman tracks down Brick. Book it, Danno. Hells yeah!!!
  2. Blackman's show where he hunts down tape traders would be a vindictive Vince show.
  3. It might be getting better now that he's bringing in his own guys instead of being best buds with Fuller & Golden. Kevin Sullivan rambling about rolling bones and traveling to Singapore doesn't work when he's standing there cutting promos with those guys. I can see that.
  4. Goc I'm on the exact opposite end of the fence on Sullivan. I loved his promos and angles he was involved in. His character work here was tremendous. Different strokes for different folk type of thing I guess.
  5. Street is a legit tough guy for starters.
  6. Then I start looking around on the Roku and the app and some ppv's are missing for example Fall Brawl 93.
  7. On the Roku 3 we got some new headers like the 1986 houseshows, and the 1983 WCCW shows. Tjhat's got to be taken as a positive in fixing glitches. Still has some to sort out, but it's progress.
  8. Same issue here (Roku). I had to watch the Texas episode of Legends of Wrestling (2009) by going through the Schedule section. The problem with the years has been partly solved on the Apple TV. Some years show up/have been corrected (WCCW 1993, Old School 86) but several others still don't show up (Old School 1985, Roundtables 99). The response I got was they were aware of the problem and hope to have it resolved by the time Elimination Chamber is uploaded . Of course they plugged Wrestlemania.
  9. We have the same problem with the Roku. I know this stuff should get fixed, but it's annoying. I just wish their was communication like we are aware of this issue, this issue etc. instead of a total lack of communication. Maybe I'm expecting too much from them.
  10. That show dragged , and was full of long clips.
  11. The things I've noticed the Roku 3 is having problems uploading like the Old School Shows, The WCCW 83 shows, and the Legend show that took place in 2009 is that the Roku doesn't have the year header so I'm thinking their is a glitch in that way. For example we got the new 91 house show because their is a 91 header. Just an idea.
  12. One thing that is pretty telling about WWE creative when they showed Ric's retirement . Is Orton had the belt, Cena, Batista, and HHH are positioned as the biggest stars. That was 6 years ago. Talk about stagnant.
  13. I called the WWE network to report some small problems that I want them to be aware so they're fixed. This time I was given a reference # so that's some progress.
  14. I want to say the Studd Stable because they had a rip roaring rematch.
  15. I find it humorous , and kinda not fair that the WWE is sending out surveys asking how your experience has been with the support staff. I've sent a few E-mails in that I've had problems with my Roku 3. I do it just so my problems are on the record. Bottom line my problems still exist so will I be happy with my support team? I think the problems will fix themselves eventually, but it's a hassle.
  16. David Manning was by far the worst. Nick Patrick never bothered me.
  17. On the Regal part 2 interview him and Austin put over Steamboat something fierce. It's almost shocking he hasn't had Steamer on yet
  18. It seems none of the new houseshows are loading onto the archives on the Roku, but they are on my computer.

    Current WWE

Still to cement him as a top guy. One he must get the title at Mania. Secondly he must go over clean against top level heels like Batista etc. for the next couple of ppvs in the main event slot. He must not get the Misterio treatment.

  21. Goc I will disagree with you about Brad Armstrong as a promo in the territory.I thought he was really good here.I mean he wasn't at the level of his Dad. I thought he came across well in promos. Especially considering his rep as a bad talker.
  22. Also is the territory Brad Armstrong comes across as the future of the business. Obviously he didn't pan out. Though here he was a strong worker, he had charisma, and cuts a good promo. He seemed real natural. The Nightmares are one of the great teams that no one really talks about. They could work face or heel. They had a MX feel to them.

  24. We're going to do a podcast on some matches on the Titans of wrestling. I'm a huge fan if the territory. I haven't seen a ton. About 46 discs worth, but man is it a blast .
  25. Jerry Lawler vs. Austin Idol (Hair vs. Hair Cage Match) (4/27/87) This is a pretty famous match. This was part of the feud of the year for 87 and one of my all time favorite feuds and angle. The cage in this is like a Hell in the Cell minus the ceiling. We start with Idol on his bike trying to get away from The King. Lawler would pursue on the floor and punches him and uses the cage and the ring post as weapons. This is a brawl with the tide turning a few times. Obviously we get the prerequisite blood from all involved. We get a ref bump while Lawler begins his comeback. All of the sudden Tommy Rich comes from underneath the ring and destroy Lawler. The ref counts 3 and the winner is Austin Idol. They destroy Lawler afterwards. They redo the posting angle from earlier in the angle. They give the King the cheapest shave . Just an epic experience. Just where you thought this was going to be the blow off they give you the curve. 4 1/2* This lead to Bill Dundee coming back to the territory and a scaffold match where Lawler on purpose breaks Paul E Dangerously's jaw.
