  1. I agree they have used him much better in 91. This was a good piece of business. Though any child I knew I wouldn't allow him near Warrior.
  2. I enjoyed this and it had a battle of the guards to it. I thought Hase was great here with a lot of the nuances. I thought Choshu brought the holy shit factor with some of those lariats. This had a lot of drama to it and built to a satisfying conclusion .
  3. This was funny. I was looking at the McAdams list in the other folder when he compares Landell to Richards. Does anyone else see that comparison. It seems raher interesting.
  4. Yeah, certainly. Was there ever even the slightest chance that WCW believed they could get the Ultimate Warrior for this payoff? I mean, he was the WWF champion at this point, for god's sake. I never thought of Warrior. I was always thinking of the other 2 guys the Apter mags would touch on here and there.

    Looking forward to these.
  6. I liked this match. I thought Honaga had some cool moments here. I thought his heel work wasn't over the top. I liked the mask ripping. I also liked how he gave Liger a ball shot on the top rope. I really dug the false finishes building toward the finish. Though the actual finish was kinda of just there.
  7. A total spot fest. I loved Liger's submission win and would have blown my shit if he worked the leg of Casas. Oh well this was not the match I was envisioning before hand. I wanted some mat work too.
  8. Benoit totally outclasses Honaga here. Everything Benoit does is crisp and looks devastating. Honaga comes across as baggage here and totally doesn't deserve the win.
  9. I thought this a great match, and one of the best in SNME . This was a great 1st step in Bret's single run.
  10. I feel bad for Slaughter here because he tried so hard to have a good match with Warrior. I think for the most part he did. He bumped really hard for him. He might not have the variety of bumps he once had, he still had enough to make this interesting.
  11. This was great , but would have played better in the states.
  12. Another good match between the 2. Not as good as the 1st on the set. Though not that far behind. The work wasn't as crisp, and the storytelling not as compelling.
  13. Even though he can still cut an amazing promo their is a disconnect with the hair.
  14. They do a good job marketing these towards the kiddies.
  15. This was just great story telling.
  16. Throwing another good promo and worker into the mix is always good news, and Fuller fits the bill.
  17. This totally feels like a match and not an exhibition. The work on the mat was done with purpose. Owen really does some nasty arm work to Liger here. Both guys worked hard and we got a good match .
  18. Pretty great segment. This really is Eddie's good friend John Gillam who pops up from time to time on where he is booked. He makes a cameo in his shoot interview. He was Mr. Dothan in Continental as an angle.
  19. This promo seems right out of the 80 territorial days.
  20. The tone seems to be RIP Horseman. Arn is his typical grand self.
  21. Back in the old Apter mags they would predict Owen as a future NWA champion. So when he show up I was stoked. Though he'd be gone sooner than later.
  22. That Sportatorium must be some sort of bake house in April. I wonder how much that would affect attendance .
