I don't think even pure mat wrestling is all that safe, in the scheme of things. Anything north of exhibition pace in any style could be a danger to him. You do know that he still trains MMA and Jui Jitsu and is regularly rolling around on the mat, right? And that he weight trains the same as he did (maybe not the same, but you get what I mean) as when he was active? If the doctors all clear him (and they all cleared him last time around, except for one, and that was ultimately the one that mattered)......I don't see why he shouldn't return to the ring. I absolutely want him to tone down his style, no more diving headbutts and crazy dives please. I do worry about him going to NJPW though. I think he could have safe "dream matches" with Tanahashi and Okada though. Just please no hard slaps to the head/headbutts/diving stuff. And yeah, every indy that could afford him would be on the phone with him immediately. He'd be a HUGE draw on the indy scene, and he wouldn't have to do much in his matches. He could do mat based & comedy and the crowds would eat it up. I also don't think for a second WWE would try and fuck with him. He's very beloved and respected in that company, the Bellas too, and oh yeah, that brother in law of his. And don't forget the boys.....many of whom came up in the indies with him and are good brothers to him. And, he's been totally open and honest with them about his desire to return to the ring.......it's just not gonna happen under their watch......and I understand their position. And Bryan does too. They've known this day was coming for a long time, I think they'll shake his hand, wish him well, and he's always welcome back (in a non-wrestling capacity) when he hangs em up

Hell of a F'n show. Every match was good-great, crowd was molten hot, great entrances, Code Orange rocked, and awesome ReDragon reunion, Cole debut.....and they 3 of them in cahoots That might be the best Takeover yet......and it's the one I went into with the lowest expectations that I can remember

Another damn good match. 3/3 so far. Only knock is that the crowd wasn't really all that into the Itami control segment, but they heated up again by the end. Guess they couldn't stay nuclear hot all night

Figured Almas would win. He's finally getting over and they're pushing him hard. Gargano is the plucky underdog babyface who the crowd loves no matter what. The loss doesn't hurt him, the finish was really creative, and because the crowd likes Almas it didn't kill them

Good opener by Gargano and Almas. Loved the finish with Vega throwing a Ciampa shirt at Gargano

Surprised there wasn't a thread for this already Blood Orange live performance was an awesome start to the show and got an already hyped up crowd even more pumped

To be fair, I don't do * ratings, but I f'n LOVED the Naito-Omega G1 Finals match so much that I watched it like 5 times (and it's almost an hour long, and I don't usually like matches that long) in like 3 days. I always recommended it to a bunch of friends that aren't wrestling fans I do like Naito better than Omega though

Really fun go home ep of RAW. Surprised they hot shotted SS matches, but it made it a fun, exciting, unpredictable show......and left me more interested in the PPV than I was before. I think some of the results for the PPV were telegraphed though, and that would be my one complaint. It's like the hot shotting of matches was just 50-50 booking. I mean, Tozawa is only going to be champ for 6 days, right? It's like they wanted to keep the belt on Neville but wanted to throw Akira a bone. Good match anyway. Most of the stuff on the show was good. Wyatt winning clean was a pretty clear telegraph as well, but I expected Balor to be winning at SS anyway And now after Orton beating Jinder clean after Nak beat Cena clean I'm almost 100% Jinder beats Nakamura. That's just the way this company books stuff
