Prichard was really good here with his bumps and blading about 5 times. Cornette is also awesome with his promo before and after the match. They got Shanghai'd damn it.

Pretty sure that was the Mongolian Mauler right? I think this was after he was fired from WCW.- 9 replies

[1992-08-08-SMW-Fire on the Mountain] Rock & Roll Express vs Stud Stable
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in August 1992
As much as I like the Stud Stable, they really shouldn't be having 15+ minute matches. This was ok but went too long. Good post match though.- 10 replies

I agree about Dutch. He has great comedic timing and loved when he was choking on his cigar. Bob was also good in his role and loved the shots at WCW.

I thought this kinda sucked. Way too much laying around, shitty pogo piledrivers, ref bumps and a inside cradle for a finish? I thought these fire matches ended when you set your opponent on fire? And what was the point of the fireworks going off every couple minutes in the guys faces. The end angle was good though with a nice cameo by American Eagle Danny Davis.

[1992-08-01-USWA-TV] Jerry Lawler & Jeff Jarrett vs The Moondogs
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in August 1992
Moondogs doing cross body blocks ruled. Richard Lee was handcuffed to Robert Fuller during the match. -
CMLL's main guys at the time were better than AAA's but AAA's mid card was way better than CMLL's at the time. At least in my opinion. As for the match, probably the most disappointing of the whole set so far. I was expecting a lot, especially from Rey and Psicosis but all the guys seemed to half ass it. Best part of the match was Super Calo's entrance and dancing with the ring girl.

I think Taz also had one match in USWA around this time. I always liked Tony Rumble and the Brotherhood.

Cien Caras for sure. Had one of the best feuds/mask matches in history with Rayo De Jalisco. Atlantis and Panther might have a shot too but they are still active.

I liked how Taue stood up to Hansen with the chairs on the outside. The finish was kinda flat though.

Alright Skinhead version of Koshinaka rules. I always heard about that stable and now I get to see some in action. Good match with the blood and the heat.

Dutch bringing a dog to kill on sight and then DWB opening the bus door and the dog runs like hell was funny.

Good stuff from Rude indeed. I liked the backstage brawl with Terry Taylor looking a lot like a dark haired Flair.

He sure did take him to the "School of pain". I liked how Jesse almost forgot the name of the ppv. Did he say the Bash or the Blast?

Since this has kind of become a recommendation thread, Dylan have you seen the past two weeks of NXT? I like how it's become kind of a WWECW type brand of it's own with guys that aren't getting pushed like Tyson Kidd. Plus Matt Striker vs Darren Young from this past week was really good.
