Macho was just awesome in this and nice to see usual Ric Flair come back. Loved Savage running to the ring and almost taking the camera man down.

Even though it's kinda safer, Shawn still takes some crazy bumps. Good match

WWE runs a lot of matches like this these days on Raw with guys like A-Ry/Rey vs Miz/Swagger or something like that. Gotta agree with Loss that this wasn't really that good. Seemed more like a dark match that should have stayed dark.

Did this air on TV at the time or did they only show it on Coliseum Video?

The woman is Lauren Davenport who managed all the heels during the time. I think she only appeared with Gilbert a couple times on tv. Interesting that they re did the handcuff angle with the Mortons after doing it on tv with DWB and Dirty white girl. Morton is no DWB on the mic looking for revenge.

Not only is the accent more heavy but he keeps talking slower and slower as these go on.

Man that botched face drop Vamp does in the beginning was just wow. I can sorta see why Vampiro was so over back then. He was tall and no one looked like him. Kinda funny that he started out as a rudo.

Does all the fake Huracan Ramirez's in the early 2000's hurt the nominees chances? Seems like there were at least a dozen version of the Original.

I didn't enjoy this too much. Both guys are great in other matches but this just seemed slow and maybe it was because of the quality that I didn't enjoy it.

Yeah this wasn't too great. Hansen trying to break a chair over Kobashi's back was nice. Was Dave at the even live to give it 4 stars?
-
Never heard of Koplov but he looked real good with his leg submissions. And Han was his usual great self. I liked how the ref looked like a older version of El Dandy.

I'm guessing they were burned out after Vader/Sting. Bad finish and man Ole was awful as ref.

Not much I can add except I agree that this was an awesome match. Sting just takes a beating and Kinda reminds me of John Cena in his matches vs Umaga here.

Gotta agree with jdw here. This was fine but not as good as the Superbrawl match. Just seemed like a regular match and wasn't very special.

I think the lowest point in Rey's career had to be the Devil horn days of 2000 when he was wrestling guys like Kronik and the Harris Twins. But even then he was the best guy in the company.

I really enjoyed this. Liger ruled and seeing him vs Nikita was weird but entertaining.

They also played this for the Savage tribute on Raw after he died didn't they?

Albright's suplexes never get old and I loved the final 5 minutes of this.

Only thing I really liked about this was the facial expressions by both Fuchi and Kikuchi and the finish. Rest of the match was typical All Japan.

Every match at Wrestlemania is a main event isn't it? That what they said about the Del Rio/Edge match at least.

Garvin beating up Andre and Joe Leduc with tables and chairs in the 70's is just surreal.

I think Pritchard worked USWA well into 93. His best promo was the one after he turned babyface and actually acknowledged the Roddy Piper gimmick critics. And he will wrestle Brian Christopher for free.
